  Overall, the experience with Aurora was really positive. We placed our order in early April and they got the system installed in early June, though it took a little longer as BGE needed to finalize their approvals and install the net meter in July. Aurora was fantastic to work with – they were very helpful and kept us informed about all the available incentives, like the 30% Federal Tax credit and the $1000 Maryland grant. Their own installers were also excellent, really professional and did a great job. So far, the system has performed wonderfully; our July and August electric bills were actually negative, and I’m expecting to be break-even or even generating savings for most of the year – I’m anticipating a big bill in the winter, of course. report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with our solar panel system from Aurora. I started looking into solar in the spring of 2016 and initially considered a few different companies, but ultimately chose Aurora because I appreciated their SunPower modules, their long-standing local presence, and the positive reviews I’d read. Aurora’s communication throughout the entire installation process – which took a little longer than anticipated due to the really hot weather – was fantastic. I especially want to thank Dustin for his dedication; he worked incredibly hard, especially during those long, hot days, to ensure everything was done perfectly. The only bit of frustration we experienced was with SunPower’s final commissioning process, which unfortunately took several weeks longer than expected. Aurora did a great job of staying on top of things and following up with SunPower until it was finally resolved. report abuse
