“I’d strongly advise against using this company. While they were responsive, the quality of the work – specifically the “report and sketch” – was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the $1025 price tag. They essentially just repeated measurements I already provided, and the sketch was a hastily drawn scribble on a scrap of paper. What was most concerning was that they didn’t disclose that they needed my existing measurements to begin with, and then suggested I should have hired a designer myself – a suggestion they hadn’t brought up before accepting my payment. They completely ignored their own agreement and refused to offer a refund, so it’s clear they weren’t committed to delivering the service they promised.”

“Chao was really quick to respond when we needed help closing on our house, which we appreciated. However, we were significantly overcharged – it felt like he was simply trying to take advantage of us. We paid a $500 deposit, and he spent only 30 minutes inspecting the foundation. Then, he demanded an extra $300 for an expedited report, which felt completely unreasonable. The final bill ended up being $955, a big difference from the $800 we’d been told to expect. There was a clear disconnect between the time he actually spent and what he charged. It felt like a lot of extra fees and charges were added on, and honestly, it left us feeling really frustrated and like we weren’t treated fairly. It’s certainly not the kind of experience we would recommend.”
-
“This company is truly exceptional – they’ve consistently impressed me with their expertise in civil, structural, and survey engineering. They seem to handle a wide range of challenges and I’d highly recommend them.”
-
“Seriously, you won’t find anyone better equipped to handle your land survey needs. They’ve got experience with everything, including complex wetland assessments – truly a comprehensive solution.”
-
“He’s truly a standout – consistently recognized as one of the best structural engineers in South Carolina.”
-
“This was incredibly well-handled and professional.”
