  “Working with Labra Design Build was honestly fantastic. From start to finish, the whole process was so smooth and easy – they really listened to what we wanted. Rufino, in particular, was amazing. We initially talked about a much bigger renovation, but he really took the time to understand how we actually used our home, and he wisely suggested a simpler solution that perfectly fit our needs. What really stood out was his attention to detail; he made sure we could still use our laundry room during the project, and he anticipated our needs without us even asking! Communication was also top-notch – Rufino was always responsive and kept us updated every step of the way. The whole team was incredibly professional, and I appreciated everyone’s respect for our home and family.   Rufino and the whole team at Labra Design + Build were absolutely fantastic to work with! We hired them to completely remodel our laundry room and basement walk-out, and the results were truly stunning. It was a two-month project that transformed a very small laundry room into a gorgeous, high-end space – a real designer’s dream! They handled everything flawlessly, from the intricate tile work and new cabinetry to the drywall, painting, and even coordinating the electrical work and inspections. They even tackled some challenging aspects like the brickwork around the house and rebuilding the space where a fireplace used to be.   Labra Design did an absolutely fantastic job on our Mid Century Modern house – we were thrilled with the stair rail they created for us. I actually found his work on Houzz and was really impressed with how quickly he responded to my inquiry, especially considering it was a smaller project. He really understood our vision, drawing up some great sketches without even seeing the space in person, and he was incredibly helpful in finding options that fit our budget. It was so reassuring knowing he was prioritizing safety, especially with a two-year-old running around! The installation went perfectly, on time and seamless. We’re definitely planning to use Labra Design again when we tackle our master bathroom and kitchen – we highly recommend them! report abuse

  Rufino was absolutely fantastic – he really took the stress out of this whole process. He was incredibly reliable, so knowledgeable, and always found a way to get things done.   Working with Rufino and Labra Design + Build was an absolutely fantastic experience. We completely transformed our deck – it was a full demolition and rebuild of our main deck, plus we had a second-story deck taken down and replaced. We also rebuilt a smaller lower level deck and even had a curved bridge modified to create a smoother transition. What really set Rufino apart was his dedication to our vision. We were initially looking at composite decking materials, but Rufino did some research and suggested cumaru, a beautiful Brazilian hardwood, which was a brilliant choice. He handled everything – the deck lighting, the materials, and even proactively addressed a carpenter ant problem. He was incredibly thoughtful, like when he recognized the potential danger of glass railings for the local birds and suggested stainless steel cable instead. The quality of the work is just outstanding; the woodworking detail is truly amazing. Rufino and his team were consistently professional, arriving on time, working efficiently, and paying such close attention to detail. Because Rufino has a degree in architecture, he brought a real artistic eye to the project, and he kept us constantly informed of any changes or challenges. They even added soffit lights, which we absolutely love! We finished within the estimated timeframe, despite a few rainy days, and we couldn't be happier with the stunning, new deck. We'll definitely be using Labra Design + Build again in the future. report abuse
