  “We’ve been incredibly disappointed with Markin Co. after hiring them eight months ago for a window replacement project. We’ve only received half of the windows, and then we had to reject the remaining six due to unacceptable quality. It’s frankly baffling that it’s taken this long – we’re now waiting nearly nine months for windows that are twenty years old! Communication has also become a major issue; Markin initially responded quickly, but now he’s unresponsive, offering only brief answers. We’re extremely frustrated with the poor quality of the materials, the significant delay in service, and the lack of communication. We absolutely would not recommend Markin Co. – it feels like a huge gamble, and frankly, we’re considering legal action.” report abuse

  Markin did an absolutely fantastic job replacing our vinyl sliding door with steel. From start to finish, the process was incredibly smooth – they provided a clear quote, and they went above and beyond, actually fixing several unexpected problems with our house along the way, like repairing our gutters and repositioning outlets.   I was really pleased with my recent experience ordering windows from Markin Co. I placed an order this fall and then, at the last minute, decided to add one more window. It was a tight timeline, and my contractor was already working on the job. Markin and Kevin were fantastic – they got the extra window to me quickly and delivered it right to my home on the same day they received it. My contractor was able to complete the installation and finish the job on time. The Provia windows look absolutely amazing, and I couldn't be happier with the service! report abuse

  We hired this company in December 2022 to do some major home upgrades, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating and ultimately left us feeling undervalued. Initially, they were prompt and professional, providing a quick quote and starting work within a week. However, things quickly deteriorated. The work itself was often delayed – painting took weeks with periods of no communication and the crew disappearing for days. There were serious issues with communication, with us being repeatedly “ghosted” when trying to get updates or address concerns. The painter’s strong scent of alcohol and weed was also a significant problem, forcing us to temporarily relocate while the smell lingered. On top of that, they improperly disposed of the paint cans in our trash, which was completely unacceptable. Beyond the delays and communication problems, there were several significant issues with the quality of the work. The windows were painted shut, and the lower portion of the window frames weren’t painted, leaving a noticeable and unattractive color difference. Then, while working on the kitchen, they accidentally cracked our laminate floor. Despite this, they didn’t address the issue promptly, and the problem lingered for months. The backsplash work was particularly bad – we were left waiting for weeks to even get started, and then the tile work was rushed and incomplete. Considering the nearly $25,000 we spent, we felt completely ignored and that our concerns were not taken seriously. While the finished product looks okay overall, we wouldn’t recommend this company and wouldn’t give them another chance, especially given the significant delays and issues we encountered. report abuse

  I’m absolutely thrilled with my new windows! The installation team did an outstanding job – they were professional and really took their time. I was particularly impressed with how well they’ve maintained a consistent temperature in my house, even with yesterday’s heat (90 degrees!), I only had to adjust my air conditioning up a degree. I appreciate Markin and his team’s quick response to a small issue I had with the manufacturer – they’ve handled it right away. Overall, a fantastic experience! report abuse
