  “I want to start by saying, please read this review in its entirety. If you’re in the process of building a home, you need to understand that a 5-star rating doesn’t mean there were no challenges – it means the builder and their team tackled every issue with incredible integrity. Anyone who promises you a fully built home, on time, with absolutely no problems… run! That’s a red flag. Our situation was unique; we weren’t intentionally building a new home, but rather rebuilding after a devastating loss. We were working with insurance while touring builders. Amber Stephens from Precision Homes was truly outstanding. She was patient, answered all our questions, and gave us the time we needed, even though we weren’t completely sure we could build with them at the start. What really set Precision apart was their transparent pricing. They wouldn’t ask for a ‘dream sheet’ and then surprise us with a massive total. Instead, they gave us a detailed breakdown of every cost – every window, outlet, upgrade, and square foot. We could make informed decisions, like whether a pot filler was worth the extra expense. There were no hidden bottom-line surprises when we signed. During a particularly stressful time – just before the pandemic’s soaring material costs – we were concerned about builders holding onto extra funds. Amber reassured us that Precision had a commitment to us, and they would stick to the agreed-upon price, only adding costs for changes we made during the build. They absolutely honored that commitment, even as material prices fluctuated. Building a home can be emotionally overwhelming, especially after a loss. We had a small hiccup early on, and Jason, one of the team members, patiently worked through it with me – I truly appreciated his calm and dedication. Josh Peters, our project manager, stepped in during the chaos of the pandemic, quickly becoming a leader. He wasn’t afraid to admit he didn’t know something and get back to me, and his calm, honest approach was invaluable. If you're looking for a builder, prioritize integrity. There will always be bumps in the road, but a builder with that fundamental quality will ensure everything gets sorted out correctly.   Overall, Precision was fantastic to work with. Despite the challenging weather we’ve been having, they got things moving really quickly and did a fantastic job with the craftsmanship. I especially appreciated how responsive everyone was – from the salesman to the guys working on-site; they were always there to answer my questions.   Honestly, finding a builder to work with and stick to our budget felt really overwhelming at first. But we’re so incredibly happy we chose Precision Homes. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the construction – it weathered Hurricane Imelda with no damage and we barely needed to use our heating system during that crazy winter freeze. Amber was fantastic at helping us stay on budget and presented us with several thoughtful design options to ensure we got exactly what we wanted.   Amber was fantastic to work with – genuinely fun and easygoing. She was incredibly responsive to all our questions (and there were quite a few!), always providing detailed answers with a really patient and helpful attitude. The color consultation we had with her and Tara was a really enjoyable experience, and we were laughing the whole time. It’s clear they’re knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.
