Sean was fantastic! He came to our home today to assess switching from gas to an electric range, and he was incredibly thorough. He clearly explained all the advantages and disadvantages, and most importantly, he was completely honest and didn’t try to pressure us into anything. I’m really impressed with his professionalism and honesty – I’ve definitely found an electrician I can trust.

Honestly, my experience with electrical repairs this week was a real rollercoaster. I started out with a completely frustrating situation – a faulty circuit left me in the dark, and the first company I called immediately started talking about a massive, $8,000 overhaul. They spent nearly two hours warning me about all the potential problems and didn’t even bother to find the actual issue! Then, after a quick assessment, they just said they’d come back next week and charged me $400 for the trouble. Thankfully, Duke Electric was a completely different story. They arrived right on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in under fifteen minutes for just $175. It was a huge relief. To add to the chaos, I had to call the first company to cancel their scheduled appointment, and they charged me $89 for the visit they didn’t even complete. It really was a case of two very different experiences – Wednesday was awful, but Thursday was a fantastic change of pace!

I hired him to install ceiling fans throughout my house, and it turned out the original wiring was a bit tricky – Sean quickly and generously took care of that without any extra charge. Then, one of the fans had a defective part, but Sean went above and beyond, contacting the manufacturer and having a replacement delivered to my home in just two days! When the new part arrived, he was even in the neighborhood and fixed the problem within twenty minutes. It’s clear Sean takes a lot of pride in his work and really wants his customers to be completely satisfied. As a family-owned business – his grandfather runs Duke Electric – you can tell they’re dedicated to quality. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone and I’ll be sure to use his services again for any future electrical work I need.”

“Honestly, as a homeowner, you quickly realize how pricey repairs can be and how difficult it is to find someone you can really trust to do a good job. I’ve gotten pretty handy and do a lot of the work myself, but there are definitely things I just can’t tackle. When my husband and I decided to replace our daughter’s light switch – which should have been simple – we knew we needed a professional. Sean was fantastic! He arrived within an hour, got the job done in about 30 minutes, and even helped my husband when we ran into a problem with the bulb. He was really willing to come back if the bulb wasn’t right. He was just a really nice, clean, and professional guy, and the price was great. I’d definitely recommend him and we’ll be calling him again for sure.”
