  Overall, we were really pleased with Big D’s work. We initially got three proposals for a solar installation, and their was by far the most competitive. They handled everything – from the paperwork to the warranty – and the installation itself was incredibly smooth, completed in just one day and passed inspection quickly after. We then decided to upgrade our electrical service and add an on-demand hot water system, and Big D responded promptly and did a fantastic job. They were particularly considerate of our home and didn’t rush the work, ensuring everything was done meticulously. The system is performing exactly as expected, and honestly, we were surprised by the positive rumors we’d heard – Big D definitely lived up to the mark! report abuse

  “As a disabled veteran, I was incredibly disappointed with the generator installation this company performed – it was done incorrectly, and they’ve refused to take responsibility. They initially agreed to pay for a different company to rectify the wiring issues, specifically the neutral/ground bonding mistake. Despite my repeated text messages to the owner, confirming her agreement and willingness to provide a business credit card number, she’s simply ignored my concerns and refused to follow through. This has left me with a significant bill and added stress, particularly given my disability status. I need a concrete solution – until this matter is resolved, I’m unable to move forward.” report abuse

  “Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the service we received. Communication was fantastic – they consistently kept us updated and were always prompt to respond to our questions. They even called the day before our appointment to remind us, which we really appreciated. Their pricing was fantastic, significantly lower than a competitor’s, but the quality of the work itself was outstanding from start to finish. They handled everything smoothly, accepting credit card payments, provided a detailed estimate that was accurate, and were always punctual.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience dealing with this landlord. From the outset, I felt completely disregarded; she ignored my attempts to discuss the serious mold and mildew issue in the house, and frankly, treated me with a blatant disrespect. It escalated to a terrifying situation when she threatened to change the locks on my home. It’s appalling that a landlord would behave in that way. Her defense of calling my concerns slander feels completely disingenuous – how can you be accused of slander when you haven’t even spoken to the tenant? She made promises during our discussion, then immediately broke them. As a landlord, she has a legal obligation to address tenant concerns, and her refusal to listen is unacceptable. I believe her accusations are a deliberate attempt to deflect blame. I have documented evidence – messages and photographs – that clearly demonstrate her actions and her failure to uphold her responsibilities. I presented her with the relevant paperwork, but it was clearly ignored. I’m left with no confidence in her integrity and I’m prepared to take further action to resolve this situation. report abuse

  I was so relieved when Big D Electric responded so quickly to my meter issue – it turned out to be a serious problem with the meter and wiring being completely burnt. They were fantastic! They arrived within 30 minutes to assess the damage, and then were back within an hour to fix everything, finishing up by 3 pm. They efficiently shut off my power at 11 am and coordinated with the electric company to reconnect it. The team was truly amazing, and I’ll definitely be calling Big D Electric first for any future electrical needs – highly recommend!” report abuse
