“The website showed me some homes that really fit what I was looking for, so I naturally went to get a quote. However, the process quickly fell apart – the site directed me to a page asking for more information, but there was no actual way to submit it. I ended up calling several times, going through the sales department and general customer service, but all the numbers just went straight to voicemail. Frankly, it felt like they weren’t interested in doing business with me at all. It’s incredibly frustrating when you can’t get a simple response, and I’m seriously concerned about the level of service I’d receive if I were a paying customer – especially given the current volume of spam calls and the difficulty in reaching legitimate businesses.”

I was incredibly frustrated with the quote I received. They charged me $60,000 to redraw my existing CAD drawings for a 2,610 square foot, single-level home. To make matters worse, the price didn’t include *any* building materials. I genuinely thought she was kidding at first, but the cost was simply too high for my budget.

“I was really disappointed with my experience with Oakridge 24. I invested $38,000 in a barn kit, but the plans DC sent me weren’t compliant with local building and fire codes, forcing me to spend an additional $25,000 to redesign them and get a permit. This delay pushed my project back by four months – it was incredibly frustrating. When I voiced my concerns, DC essentially told me I was being bullied by the building inspector, which felt completely dismissive. To make matters worse, it turns out DC’s engineering process was investigated by the State of NY, and they found misconduct and are taking action. Thankfully, I was able to work with a local contractor who sourced the materials, and I'm ultimately getting a much better, more cost-effective structure.”
