  I have to say, I’m incredibly pleased with the service I received! I recently moved to Alabama and needed some plumbing repairs, and Higdon really came through. Gunnar Wiggins was fantastic – he quickly assessed the problem and scheduled the repair for the following day, ensuring everything was properly insulated to avoid future issues. Elbert Santos and Xavier Cruz were also incredibly hardworking and efficiently completed the job in just seven hours.   I absolutely have to say, Higdon Service Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing did an outstanding job! They recently installed my entire new HVAC system and hot water tank, including all the ductwork and copper lines – everything was top-notch. The team was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to answer all my questions and ensure everything was working perfectly. They stayed until the very end to test the system, and I truly appreciated their thoroughness. I honestly wish I could give them more than five stars! I wholeheartedly recommend Higdon Service to anyone needing heating, cooling, or plumbing work. Everyone – especially Shawn, Gunnar, and the whole team – was wonderful.   “I hired Higdon for a simple assessment, and ended up paying $100 for them to essentially confirm what I already knew. Worse, they told me they didn't have the right tools to work with my 1 1/2 inch pipes, and their only solution was to tear up my concrete slab. Needless to say, I went with another plumber. After that, the management team contacted me to apologize and fix the situation, but then they responded to my original review denying what happened—after we’d already discussed it on the phone where the technician admitted the mistake. It’s really frustrating to see the review still reflect that inaccurate account.” report abuse

My unit stopped working and the thermostat was dead, and they sent someone out within just 45 minutes – Jake diagnosed the issue quickly and efficiently, and he was incredibly friendly and professional.   “Xavier and the team did an absolutely fantastic job replacing our hot water tank. My husband noticed a big leak when he got home from work, and Xavier quickly assessed the situation and scheduled the repair for the next day. When they arrived, they were incredibly professional, courteous, and took the time to explain exactly what had happened and why the tank failed – which was really helpful.   Hidgon Service truly stands out – they’re fantastic! I was incredibly impressed with both their plumbing and HVAC work. What really impressed me was how transparent and thorough they were, and they never tried to pressure me into unnecessary services. The technicians – Jake, Gunner, and Brandon – were all amazing, professional, and did a great job.
