  Honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed with this experience. They technically built the house, but it’s the only positive I can say. The workmanship was shockingly poor – the doors were installed incorrectly and had to be completely redone, and the closet doors are still not installed two years later. We also wasted a huge amount of perfectly good materials; they were throwing away unopened lumber and unused trim without a second thought. To make matters worse, the contractors spent most of their time goofing off with their phones, and management seemed completely dismissive when I raised these concerns – their response about it being “part of the business” was just unbelievable. It was a frustrating and disorganized process, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. report abuse

  “I can’t recommend Building Dreams highly enough. I recently had them brush hog behind my property, and Troy was fantastic. He was incredibly responsive and got out to me within a few days. The area was seriously overgrown, but he really went the extra mile and did an amazing job, clearing out far more than we initially anticipated.” report abuse

  Honestly, my experience with Building Dreams Construction was incredibly frustrating. I was really hoping to get a project started, but from the very beginning, communication was a huge problem. It took me nearly two weeks to get a response after messaging them through their website, and when they finally scheduled a meeting, the representative simply didn't show up – without any notification whatsoever. It seemed like they had completely dropped the ball on managing their schedule. While I couldn’t assess the quality of their work directly, the issues I encountered with initial contact and customer engagement were significant. Adding to that, the owner seemed more interested in shifting blame onto me for the lack of communication, essentially making excuses for his employees because they were family members. It felt like he wasn’t taking responsibility at all. report abuse

  Overall, we’re really thrilled with the main floor remodel – it’s fantastic to see the dated 80s kitchen completely transformed and the new open concept kitchen and living room look so great. A huge thanks to Troy for his brilliant suggestion about reconfiguring the steps to the basement; that really gave us a valuable 40 extra inches of kitchen space. The team just needs to really focus on quality and paying close attention to the details to ensure everything is done right the first time. report abuse

  “We absolutely love our new home, and we couldn’t recommend Building Dreams Construction any higher! They took on our project right before the craziness of the pandemic, and honestly, they were incredible. They managed to keep everything on track and within budget, which was a huge relief given all the supply chain and labor issues at the time. From the initial design conversations with John to the final meetings with Miles and Nicole, the whole team was fantastic. They were so flexible, letting us choose all of our finishes and working with us on minor changes as the project evolved. It’s amazing how they truly listened to us and treated our dream home like their own. They really put us first, which is a rare thing in the construction industry. It was a challenging process building a house, but Building Dreams Construction made it a smooth and positive experience. We’re so grateful for their hard work and dedication!” report abuse
