Chris was fantastic – he really took the time to get a full understanding of the problem with my house, checking everything from the main floor to the basement and outside. He went above and beyond by taking detailed measurements to really pinpoint the extent of the movement. Honestly, I’d had a couple of consultations before with other companies, but they hadn’t given me a clear sense of what was actually going on. But Chris’s thoroughness and the specific information he provided have given me a huge amount of confidence about the work that needs to be done – it’s great to finally have a solid plan now.

Jay from Level Engineering was fantastic to work with on my recent home project. Moving an interior wall with a supporting roof beam felt pretty daunting, but Jay really took the time to understand my project and my experience level. We went through several options together, and he clearly explained the advantages and disadvantages of each. He was incredibly patient and made sure I understood everything, answering all my questions in a way that was easy to grasp. Plus, he even proactively checked for any potential issues with the wall relocation – it was such a relief to have that extra level of expertise. It was just a pleasure working with a professional who was courteous, respectful, and willing to help with a project that felt a little overwhelming. I wholeheartedly recommend Jay and Level Engineering.

“Overall, working with Level, and particularly Jay Blackburn, was a really positive experience. Navigating the complexities of Larimer County’s processes definitely presented some challenges, but the team’s professionalism and knowledge were incredibly helpful. They were fantastic to work with, especially given the specific requirements of our commercial project.”

“Murray was fantastic – truly a lifesaver for us. His experience and deep knowledge were incredibly valuable in confirming the stability of our older home before the sale. Despite being very busy, he delivered the report we needed precisely when we needed it. We’d definitely be calling Level again if we ever require structural expertise.”

I was incredibly frustrated with my experience hiring Level Engineering to evaluate the foundation of my home after a fire. I paid the full $3,825 in March 2022, and then repeatedly tried to get a copy of the report, but it was met with complete stonewalling. After several calls to Level Engineering’s office – Kristen and Amy – who consistently ignored my requests, I even went to their Loveland office and spoke with the president, Scott Zurn, on September 26th, only to be refused the report. The whole situation was extremely stressful and traumatic, culminating in the police being called to remove me. To add insult to injury, Mr. Zurn then offered an additional $1,200 to get me the report, which felt like a blatant attempt to extract more money. As of today, October 10th, I still haven’t received the report, and the staff’s lack of communication and responsiveness is frankly appalling. It’s clear they prioritize billing over client satisfaction, and I strongly advise anyone considering Level Engineering to seek another firm.

“Murray did a really good job – he was always on time, handled everything with a professional attitude, and he clearly explained his results in a way that was easy to understand.”

“Level Engineering took their time to thoroughly inspect our home and assess the issues with our walls and attic. We appreciate their detailed report, and we’ll be looking closely at their recommendations as we plan our repairs. If the proposed solutions seem feasible, I’ll definitely update my review to reflect that.”

“Chris Johnson and the Level Engineering and Inspection team were fantastic to work with. They were incredibly thorough, professional, and went above and beyond to get us the results we needed quickly.”
-
“We were really hoping to hear back from Liberty about those plans she was supposed to draw up in October. It’s now almost February 2022 and we still haven’t received anything – it’s been an incredibly long wait. And, of course, we’ve already received the consultation fee, quite a while later than expected.”
-
“Overall, it was a fantastic experience working with this team. They were incredibly accommodating to our schedule, and I’d definitely give them a 10/10. It was really reassuring to have that extra data available, regardless of the final inspection results.”
