  Overall, I was really pleased with Northstar Engineering. I’d used them before through my aunt, and her experience had been fantastic, so I knew I could trust them. They were able to pull together a huge amount of historical information about our property, which was incredibly valuable. While they were a bit pricier than some other companies, I felt they were absolutely worth the investment, especially thanks to Steve Strickland’s deep knowledge of the land’s history and ownership. Steve patiently answered all of my questions, and I genuinely learned a lot throughout the process. The only minor downside was that they could be a little slow to respond to calls, but the staff were consistently professional and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend Northstar Engineering – I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again. report abuse

  I was really disappointed with this company. They seemed helpful initially, but after submitting my simple design request, I received absolutely no communication for a whole month. I followed up with multiple emails, and still nothing. Frankly, it felt incredibly unprofessional. Reading their 3.9-star review made me think it might be an isolated incident, but I was completely wrong. They couldn’t even manage a basic design – it’s concerning, and I’m not sure they’re actually an engineering company. I wouldn’t risk them on anything complex. I definitely wouldn’t recommend using this company – 2 out of 10 stars. report abuse

  Northstar has consistently impressed me. I’ve relied on their services multiple times, and they’re incredibly professional and detail-oriented. I particularly remember their work after Hurricane Michael, assessing the damage to my family’s lake cottage – their report ultimately helped us avoid a complete rebuild and allowed us to move forward. I now use Northstar for all my engineering requirements as a real estate agent and wholeheartedly recommend them. report abuse

  This company left a really negative impression. There were serious issues with their record-keeping and they seemed to treat their customers poorly. The service they provided was simply not up to standard, and I strongly recommend considering other engineering firms before going with this one. It’s particularly concerning that they engaged in what appears to be price gouging, especially given the circumstances surrounding a natural disaster. report abuse
