  Seriously, potential pool buyers, please, please be very cautious about Nelson Pools. I wish I’d done more research before hiring them. I went with Dan Nelson’s recommendation from my real estate agent, and frankly, I completely missed the lack of reviews – there’s only one, and it’s from his wife, Tatiana. It’s clear there’s a connection, and it’s a huge red flag. Dan Nelson seems to lack real expertise; he basically just fixes things by guessing. He doesn't seem to have a solid understanding of pool systems, especially automated ones, and he almost completely ruined our brand new equipment after just two years! We ended up replacing everything due to his mistakes. He's unprofessional, disrespectful, and seems purely motivated by taking our money. Don't let him take advantage of you—do your homework before hiring him. report abuse

  Dan has been my pool service provider for years, and I’ve always been incredibly pleased with his work. He’s a really fair guy, incredibly hardworking, and I’ve been so impressed with his knowledge.
