When I moved into my new house at the end of August, I had two masonry jobs – repairing a crack in the basement and renovating our retaining wall – and Rich was fantastic. He didn’t just jump right in; he took the time to thoroughly explain everything he was doing, patiently answering all my questions, no matter how basic they seemed. Because of his clear explanations, I knew he was going to do a top-notch job, and he absolutely delivered. Honestly, the retaining wall looks incredible – it was built in the 50s! Even my father-in-law was impressed – and I’m still thrilled with the results myself. To top it all off, he was the most affordable quote I received.   LaPorte Masonry & Waterproofing did an absolutely fantastic job on our building – it’s a beautiful restoration! They really went above and beyond, paying incredible attention to detail, from meticulously repointing the brickwork to correctly installing and securing the fire escape. I especially appreciated that they took care of the roof and even addressed the windows and caulking. They were very thorough and left the site spotless after each stage.   Richie was fantastic! I live in Back Bay and had some cracking in my brownstone, with small pieces coming loose above the entrance.
