  “After living in our house for a year, we’ve unfortunately had a really frustrating experience with CJE. We made requests for repairs before the one-year deadline, and it’s been a constant struggle to get things resolved. Specifically, the issue with our vent hood – they initially didn’t install a pipe through the roof, causing smoke to accumulate in our attic. They even removed our stove vent covers but never returned to complete the repair, and now the half-finished job is peeling and looks terrible. On top of that, the power cord for the vent doesn’t connect to the outlet, and despite repeated emails from Julio, we’ve been told someone will come but no one ever shows up. It’s been a nightmare for first-time homeowners, and we’re incredibly disappointed with the level of service we’ve received.” report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with CJE. What really set them apart was their willingness to build us a completely custom home and the fantastic location in Highland Heights – it was a great find. The selection process through the app was easy and we loved being able to tailor everything to our tastes. That said, the building process itself had a few hiccups. We received updates regularly through the app, but there were times when communication felt a little delayed and things weren't always clearly communicated. Working with Alejandro was a definite highlight though! If they could just smooth out the communication during the building phase, I’d absolutely recommend CJE to anyone looking for a quality custom home – it would have been a perfect experience. report abuse

  “I’ve been so impressed with Julio – he’s not just a fantastic builder, but a really great guy too! I’ve known him since high school, and I’ve seen firsthand the quality of his work on our home. The whole team, from the salesperson to the owners, were fantastic and provided excellent customer service.
