  Working with Gary Heidman and Build It Consulting & Construction was truly a fantastic experience. Gary is the driving force behind the company, and he completely exceeded our expectations. He designed and built our kitchen and wine bar, and honestly, the quality of the work is something you’d normally see on HGTV – you have to see the photos! What really stood out was Gary’s dedication. He was consistently there, arriving every day at 7:45 AM and working until after 4:00 PM, and he did everything himself, without using any subcontractors. He only had a helper, which made a huge difference. He also stuck to the agreed-upon timeline and budget. Gary’s attention to detail is incredible. He took our initial sketch for the wine bar and built it entirely from scratch, showcasing a genuine mastery of his craft. He’s a real throwback – a skilled, old-school carpenter! And the final result – the seamless walls and ceiling – was remarkable, especially considering the significant modifications we made to the space. Beyond his technical skills, Gary was just a pleasure to work with. He was incredibly patient and understanding as we went through the change orders, and he handled them all with reasonable pricing.   Gary and Build It Construction were absolutely fantastic – I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, he was a really pleasant and professional guy to work with. He’s incredibly skilled, not just as a carpenter and kitchen designer, but also as a general contractor, and he really has an amazing eye for detail. I was so relieved to find him through his great reviews, especially since his quote fit perfectly within my insurance coverage. After a lot of water damage, Gary completely transformed my kitchen, building custom cabinets, doing all the tile work, repairing the walls, and even reinstalling the plumbing and appliances. He and his assistant were always punctual and the whole project was completed right on time. You can just tell he genuinely loves his work and takes a real pride in it – it really shows! I followed his recommendations for a few upgrades and I’m incredibly happy with the final result.   Gary and his team did an absolutely fantastic job renovating our entire house – it’s a truly beautiful transformation. Our house was quite old, 56 years old and completely untouched, so it was a big undertaking. They were incredibly thorough and meticulous, always cleaning up each day, and they really went above and beyond to make it look like a brand-new home. Gary was also a huge help; he had some brilliant ideas and guided us through the whole process, especially since we weren't entirely sure what we wanted.
