We’re so thrilled with our new home thanks to Pointe Homes and especially Richard Sanchez. As first-time homebuyers living out of state and unable to do a walkthrough, we really appreciated how quickly and efficiently Pointe Homes – and Richard in particular – addressed all of our concerns and made sure everything was exactly as we envisioned. We truly value their professionalism and commitment to our satisfaction and would happily recommend them to anyone. Sincerely, The Blanshard’s

Our experience with Pointe Homes was a real mixed bag. We absolutely love our new home and are thrilled with the floorplans – they were fantastic. However, the customer service we received was incredibly inconsistent, and frankly, quite disappointing at times. There were some truly outstanding people working for Pointe Homes. Bernice from Warranty was phenomenal – always attentive and responsive, and incredibly helpful. Sophia Arrango deserves a raise; she was genuinely invested in our experience and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. Roy Padilla and Richie De La O in Quality Control were also fantastic; they were both so positive and helpful, and Richie even went the extra mile to help us with a modification to our fireplace – something the sales team initially said wasn’t possible. Richard Sanchez was also a great point of contact for warranty issues. Unfortunately, the experience was significantly hampered by some seriously problematic interactions. Claudia, our sales representative, was the biggest issue. Her behavior was unethical, she misled us about features and upgrades, and she made us feel like just another number. We were repeatedly given false information about things like free shutters and standard apron sinks, and she didn’t disclose a significant cost increase through a COVID-19 addendum until after we signed the contract. Even the owner, Mario Ayala, seemed uninterested in resolving our concerns, essentially stating he couldn’t do anything after we raised our issues with Claudia. Denise, our interior designer, also made some missteps, incorrectly informing us about included ceiling fans and recommending an off-white paint color that highlighted every imperfection. Despite these significant issues, Pointe Homes did manage to rectify some serious problems. Roy, Richie, and Richard responded immediately and effectively to a large shower leak and a gas leak from our fireplace. They were professional and resolved those problems quickly. Overall, we're happy with the finished product, but we were deeply uncomfortable with the questionable business practices and misleading information we received from certain members of the Pointe Homes team. We ultimately chose the floorplan, but it was a difficult and stressful experience.

We’ve been thrilled with our Pointe Home for the past six years! From the moment we saw the model home, we knew we’d made the right decision, and we still feel that way today. We really appreciated being able to stay involved during the construction process, and it was fantastic how responsive the builders were – my husband was able to quickly flag any concerns and they always took care of them professionally. We even had a private inspection, and the inspector was particularly impressed with the quality of the roofwork. We only experienced one small issue – a leak in the bathroom skylight – but it was resolved promptly. Unfortunately, the problem reappeared after the initial warranty period ended, and we were then responsible for the repair, though thankfully my husband was able to handle it himself. Despite that one hiccup, we’re incredibly happy with our home and continue to love it!

“We’ve been really disappointed with the quality of our new home, which we bought in June. We’ve encountered a number of significant problems with the construction, including electrical issues, a major shower leak that damaged our kitchen ceiling, no heat, and even a dangerous gas leak from the furnace – all of which happened on Fridays and weekends. Despite these frustrations, we want to give a huge shout-out to Richard and the warranty team. They’ve been incredibly responsive and professional, always answering our calls and rushing to fix things, no matter the time of day. Honestly, they’re the only reason we’d recommend this builder to anyone.”

Overall, Pointe offers stunning homes with a really high level of quality. However, my experience was incredibly frustrating due to their terrible customer service. They’d give me one promise and then completely change their approach, always seeming to find fault with me. I signed the contract back in January of 2017, and my home wasn’t finished until nearly Thanksgiving – over a year later! Instead of acknowledging the delay and communicating properly, they just returned my earnest money deposit and seemed to just wash their hands of the situation. It was clear they weren’t listening to my concerns, and frankly, the whole experience felt misleading. They really need to focus on hiring staff who are honest, communicative, and genuinely attentive to their customers’ needs.

I absolutely love my Festival of Homes model home – it’s a fantastic quality build, and I’ve been so happy living here since 2017. However, we had a bit of a hiccup in 2021 when we realized the entire house sewer drain was missing. Dealing with the Warranty Office initially wasn’t great, but thankfully, Richard Sanchez, the field warranty project manager, stepped in and really turned things around. He was incredibly professional, always responding quickly to my calls and messages, and he personally oversaw the repair from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, and even though the process took longer than anticipated, he made sure the job was done right and to my satisfaction. Richard, thank you so much for your dedication and expertise – you really helped maintain Pointe Homes’ excellent reputation for quality!”

Overall, I had a fantastic experience working with Pointe Homes. From the start, their customer service was truly outstanding – they really made us feel like valued clients and paid a lot of attention to our needs. The builder’s guidance throughout the entire design and building process was incredibly helpful and supportive, and we absolutely love our new home. We’re so grateful to Pointe Homes for making the whole experience so positive and enjoyable.

“We absolutely loved working with this team – it was, without a doubt, the best decision we made. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and we’re thrilled with our new home. We only had a small issue with the hot water in the kitchen, but they responded incredibly quickly, sending their warranty manager who fixed it within an hour! We couldn’t be happier.”

“I’m so pleased with my new home built by Point Home. Mr. Richard was fantastic – incredibly professional, attentive to my family and me, and always quick to respond, even on his time off. I really appreciated his dedication. Bernice at the office was also wonderful and very understanding. Overall, Point Home clearly cares about their customers, and I wholeheartedly recommend them if you’re considering a new build.”

Overall, we absolutely love our new home thanks to Pointe Homes. It was so important to us to create a space where our children could really grow, and after a challenging experience with our previous home, we were so grateful for their dedication and attention to detail. Pointe Homes was a true pleasure to work with – they genuinely cared about our needs, answered every question promptly, and addressed any concerns immediately. We wholeheartedly recommend them in El Paso; they really do aim to please and we’re thrilled with our new home!
