“I’m really frustrated with my experience with Aurora Asphalt. I had them replace my driveway and concrete apron/stairs back in the first week of August 2020, and it wasn’t completed until now. If everything goes smoothly, it’s fine, but if you run into any problems – and unfortunately, I did – you’re in for a long haul. I spent months contacting them, sending emails, and following up just to get them to properly address the issues with my concrete apron. I’ve attached some photos showing the condition after three months. The only thing that finally motivated them to act was that I still owed them $1000.”

Overall, it was a really positive experience working with this company. They were fantastic about keeping me informed about everything, letting me know exactly when they’d be arriving. The only thing I would have appreciated was a heads-up about the amount of cement dust generated during the project – I’m still struggling to get it all cleaned up from my garage.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the work Aurora did on my driveway. They replaced the old asphalt in the summer of 2022, and just a little over a year later, we’ve already got a massive 22-foot crack running across the entire surface. Aurora claims this isn’t their fault and that it’s my responsibility, even though we paid over $9,000 for a brand new driveway. It’s outrageous that a driveway installed so recently is already showing such significant damage – the original driveway didn't have anything like this. I feel completely misled and ripped off, and I’m warning others to be very careful when considering using Aurora.

“The Aurora team did a fantastic job – they were really punctual and got the driveway cleared and the new seal coat applied incredibly quickly, finishing the whole job in just about an hour!”
-
“The driveway concrete work was completed in the summer, but unfortunately, the concrete was significantly under-mixed – about 1.5 inches too shallow. This has caused the concrete to pop up repeatedly, repeatedly damaging my garage door and the surrounding frame. It’s clear the materials they used weren’t up to par, and the overall workmanship was quite poor.”

“We were incredibly disappointed with the work Aurora did on our driveway – it’s honestly the worst experience we’ve had with any home renovation. While the initial estimate was straightforward, the quality of the final product is completely unacceptable. The driveway is uneven, particularly around the sidewalk, with a significant, three-foot deep dip where water collects. It’s now impossible to enter our house without navigating through it, and we’re worried about ice buildup in the winter. We’ve asked for an explanation, and Aurora’s response just doesn’t make sense. They claim not to see the problem and that the driveway is perfectly smooth, despite the obvious issues. Then, unbelievably, they admitted they deliberately created the dip to collect water! We've had two other asphalt companies take a look and they were appalled by the workmanship. They completely disagree with Aurora’s approach and have offered guarantees we didn’t receive. It feels like the warranty is only valid if they admit there’s a problem, which they refuse to do. We’re incredibly frustrated, and this is going to end up costing us far more than we anticipated. We strongly advise anyone considering Aurora, to proceed with extreme caution – this experience has been a huge letdown.”

“The driveway looks fantastic – the guys did a really great job fixing those cracks, and they were both really efficient and friendly. Thanks so much!”

Overall, we were really pleased with the experience of having our driveway done by Aurora. We got quotes from a few different companies, but Aurora’s estimate was the most thorough, especially with their detailed breakdown of the driveway demo and asphalt work. What really stood out was their team – they clearly explained the whole process and even provided us with written materials to refer back to. We had a bit of a wait due to the weather, but once they got started, they were incredibly efficient, finishing the demo and then the asphalt work within a week in September 2020. The driveway looks fantastic, and honestly, I bet our neighbor is kicking himself for not getting theirs done at the same time!

Overall, it was a really positive experience. The office kept me well-informed about the pricing and schedule, and the workers on-site were fantastic – friendly, professional, and kept everything very clean.
-
“I was really impressed with Aurora Asphalt & Concrete – they did a fantastic job with my new patio. From the initial estimate through the entire process of demo, prep work, and pouring, their service was excellent. Honestly, the value they provided for transforming my outdoor space is incredible!”
