“I used Metro Home Insulation back in 2008 when I built my house, and while I was happy with the interior insulation, the exterior work was a complete disaster. They recommended this “Watchdog System” – fiberglass insulation covered with a sealant and stucco sprayed onto the block wall. Unfortunately, the stucco started falling off within a few years, exposing the insulation and the sealant itself. Over time, large chunks of stucco have completely peeled away, revealing the insulation and the sealant. In some areas, water got behind the sheeting, and the insulation has essentially fallen apart. Honestly, the whole system was a terrible product – it was incredibly flimsy when it was first installed, and it’s clearly deteriorated badly over the years. They refused to address the issues after they’d been paid, and now I’m left with a ruined exterior wall that needs to be removed from the siding down to the ground.”

Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Metro Home. From start to finish, they were professional and helpful. Mary, the fireplace specialist, was a real asset – she was always so responsive to my questions, whether it was by phone or email. The installation crew was also fantastic; they were really knowledgeable and completed the job efficiently. We absolutely love our new fireplace and would happily recommend Metro Home to anyone looking for a great fireplace at a competitive price.

Dave and Metro Home were fantastic – they got the fireplace installed for us really quickly and even responded to our service request the very next day. I’d definitely recommend them!

“We couldn’t be happier with Metro Home Insulation. They did the insulation work for our house and garage two years ago, and we were really impressed from the start. They took the time to explain everything clearly and had a really smart approach to the project. Everything was done exactly as promised – on time and within budget. And the best part? Our heating and cooling bills have dropped dramatically! They were incredibly thorough and the finished job looks fantastic.”

“I had Metro Home Insulation install new insulation in my attic five years ago through Home Depot, and initially I was happy with the work. However, recently a home inspection revealed a serious mold problem in the attic, and it’s clear Metro wasn’t upfront about potential issues. After discovering the mold, I contacted them for an inspection and advice, but it took three calls to finally get a response. The technician essentially dismissed my concerns, suggesting I contact Home Depot instead. Frankly, I felt completely brushed off. The worst part is, when mold removal specialists investigated, they found that Metro had installed new insulation *on top of* the existing mold! No one from Metro – not the estimator, not a technician – had mentioned the mold before. Because of this, I strongly suspect their installation actually worsened the problem by disrupting airflow. They never investigated, and I wouldn’t recommend Metro Home Insulation – their lack of communication and apparent disregard for the situation is simply unacceptable.”

Honestly, my experience with Metro Home Insulation was disappointing. I contacted them for a quote on spray foam for an old farmhouse, but Brian shut down the conversation almost immediately, without really hearing me out. It felt very abrupt and uninterested. Because of their response, I won’t be recommending them to anyone in my industry – word-of-mouth is crucial, and poor customer service like that will definitely damage their reputation.

“I can’t recommend these guys highly enough! From start to finish, they were fantastic – professional, offered great pricing, and most importantly, the quality of their insulation work was outstanding. I’d definitely use them again for any insulation project.”
-
It was a really smooth and quick unloading process, and I was really impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were.
-
“I was really surprised to find that my new fireplace had both a gas and an electric option – I hadn’t realized that was something I’d even want!”
-
“The loading and unloading process was really quick and efficient – it was a simple in and out. Just a heads-up that overnight parking isn’t available.”
