  I’ve always had great experiences at Peterson’s – Daryl was fantastic when we first moved in and needed help with our pool. But I just wanted to say that Tristan M. was amazing the last Friday, June 9th, when I stopped in for chlorine. He was so friendly and really knew his stuff, quickly pointing me to the right product and all the different sizes. It was a busy day, but he still took the time to make sure I got everything I needed and wasn’t just stuck in the back. I definitely recommend checking them out! report abuse

  “I really wasn’t happy with my experience at Performance. I bought an above-ground pool there and ended up spending over $200 on water testing and supplies, but the problems just kept coming – it went from clear to brown to green, and I felt like I was constantly chasing a losing battle. They’d just tell me what to add, without really explaining *why* or how it would fix things. It felt like they were just trying to sell me more products. I just wanted to drain the pool and start over, and frankly, I felt like they weren’t invested in helping me actually enjoy it. I went to another pool store nearby, and they took the time to properly test my water, explain everything to me, and even showed me how I could manage it myself.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience here. The service was poor, and frankly, they seemed to shift the blame for my issues onto a former employee – a decision I found quite strange. Despite multiple attempts to get in touch with Nathan, he never followed up. The manager, whom a corporate representative praised, didn’t seem to care about resolving my problems. I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your business; I wouldn’t hesitate to return my purchase and go with a competitor. report abuse

  Honestly, I was really disappointed with this company. They’re just incredibly overpriced, and the fact that they don’t accept returns on any chemicals – even if you’ve found a better deal elsewhere – is completely unreasonable. I’ve also used them for my pool maintenance, but their service is just standard; nothing sets them apart from other pool service companies. Because of the high prices and inflexible return policy, I definitely won’t be using them again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. report abuse

  Overall, we had a fantastic experience buying our hot tub from Peterson Pools and Spas in Elk River. The team there were so friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the whole selection process – finding the perfect hot tub for our needs.
