  “Monty and his team did an absolutely fantastic job with our basement waterproofing! From the very first conversation, Monty was incredibly responsive and professional, and he quickly came out to assess the problem – we had a persistent dampness issue after rain. He recommended a really smart solution, installing a new French drain and an extra sump pit, which was much better than the other options we’d gotten. The crew, led by Brandon, was fantastic too. They were all so friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. They really took pride in their work, and it showed – they tackled the heavy lifting and all the concrete and stone work with such efficiency. I was so impressed with their professionalism and how well they communicated everything to me during the two-day job. Their website highlighted fantastic reviews, and the only negative I saw was from someone who never even used their services – likely a competitor. But based on my experience, American Basement did a fantastic job. The work was completed quickly, in about two days, and the team was consistently punctual and kept me fully informed every step of the way. The owner even called after the job was finished to check in and make sure I was happy with the results. He was incredibly professional and honest throughout the whole process.   I was really disappointed with my experience with this plumbing company. I contacted them after my plumber identified a wet issue in my crawl space while he was fixing a leak. The initial call was frustrating – he immediately told me they didn’t service our area, even though we live in Rehoboth Beach, close to the bay, and our address is clearly a Rehoboth Beach address. He seemed dismissive and questioned my location, insisting I lived in a condo. I explained we have a large single-family home. Ultimately, he was rude and unhelpful, and I made it clear I wouldn’t be using their services. Honestly, their customer service and sales approach were unacceptable, and I would strongly advise anyone to look for a different plumbing company. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience. This contractor was completely unreliable – he quoted one price and then significantly increased it at the last minute, claiming he couldn't fulfill the original agreement due to a sudden surge in demand. Beyond the price changes, his communication was poor, and frankly, difficult to understand. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch, and I wouldn’t recommend using his services. report abuse
