  Overall, we were incredibly pleased with Concept Renovations. They did a fantastic job – the quality of the work was outstanding, and they were always so responsive and kept us fully informed about the progress. It was our first renovation, and everything turned out exactly as we’d hoped. Dolev and Kevin were our project managers, and Victor was the foreman; they were both fantastic. They consistently worked through the project, staying on schedule and within budget. We did have a few minor communication hiccups along the way, but they quickly addressed any issues and were always available to answer our questions or clarify any details. The crew themselves were incredibly kind and did a truly excellent job – we’d absolutely recommend them and definitely use them again. report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with the work Dolev and his team did for us. They truly went above and beyond, and we now have a stunning bathroom that’s exactly what we envisioned. From the very beginning, I felt a real connection with Dolev – I immediately trusted his expertise, and I’m so glad I listened to my gut. They were incredibly thorough, bringing in an interior designer, Alma, to walk us through the floor plan and design options. Alma helped us select everything, and Dolev included all of this within the initial estimate, with no hidden costs. There were a couple of minor challenges during the renovation, but Dolev and Dean handled them quickly and efficiently, always making sure I was kept in the loop. They were so patient and took the time to make sure every detail was perfect. Seriously, they were fantastic – responsive, friendly, and incredibly efficient.   Working with Concept Renovations was an absolutely fantastic experience. They tackled a really big project – remodeling two and a half bathrooms and doing some updates upstairs, including new linen cabinets, new carpet, and upgrading the bedrooms – and I was so grateful they could let me move out of the house while the work was being done. Jonathan and Jacob were my project managers, and they were truly exceptional. Honestly, I was a little nervous going into a renovation with contractors, but they completely put me at ease. From the initial consultation, where they came out to assess the job and provided a detailed quote (even on a holiday!), to the final result, it was a pleasure working with them. Valentina, their field manager, was also fantastic – she was always on-site, ensuring everything was clean and she had a real understanding of construction. What really stood out was their commitment to quality and value. They quoted a fair price, and importantly, didn’t add any markup on materials or finishes. They got significant discounts from suppliers and passed those savings directly to me, which made a huge difference. Valentina even took me shopping to help me choose everything, from tile to plumbing fixtures. Communication was key throughout the whole project. Jonathan, Jacob, and Valentina were incredibly responsive, keeping me updated via phone, email, and text, and they checked in almost daily. They were always willing to work around my schedule, and the entire crew was professional and friendly. There were definitely some challenges along the way, but Jacob’s calm and reassuring approach, combined with their dedication to getting things done right, gave me complete confidence – and that made all the difference. report abuse

  “We absolutely loved working with Concept Renovations! From start to finish, they were fantastic – incredibly clear about the whole process and really listened to our ideas, presenting us with a great range of options. The project team was fantastic at the job site, keeping everything clean and manageable while we lived in the house during the kitchen, master bath, hall bath, and kids’ bathroom renovations. They were always punctual, polite, and incredibly patient with our questions, and they were brilliant at finding creative solutions to any unexpected challenges. The project came in on time and within budget, but honestly, it went above and beyond our expectations. They even took care of little details that really elevated the finished spaces and made the entire house feel cohesive. We’ve been enjoying the updated home for a year now, and it’s exactly how we envisioned it – thanks to their fantastic design and vision.   “I was so thrilled with the work this team did – I needed a quick kitchen refresh and a bathroom update before the new year, and they completely delivered! I got several quotes and really appreciated their availability and positive attitude. The project turned out beautifully, taking just over two weeks of actual work, which was fantastic considering my own, admittedly, slightly indecisive process. Seriously, they were fantastic!   “We hired Jacob Levy in August 2017 for a bathroom remodel, custom windows, and moving our front door, but the project quickly expanded to include a new kitchen and flooring. Unfortunately, during the installation, a significant number of our custom Milgard Tuscany windows were scratched and chipped, and we repeatedly brought this to Jacob’s attention. His response was dismissive, suggesting we were complaining too much and that our house was simply old. The situation became incredibly uncomfortable and unsettling when one of his crew members attempted to make unwanted advances toward me in my living room while the windows were covered and our belongings were scattered. Jacob reacted with anger and hostility, refusing to address the issue and making accusations about my medication. His foreman was then repeatedly present, adding to the feeling of intimidation. Throughout the project, Jacob consistently refused to address serious structural issues, often lying about building codes and attempting to install substandard cabinet accessories. He even threatened to put a lien on our property when we insisted on replacing poorly fitting plastic components with appropriate wood ones. The entire experience felt like a constant battle, filled with insults and intimidation tactics. Toward the end, he threatened legal action and demanded immediate final payment while the work remained incomplete. He even recorded a private, emotionally charged conversation between myself and a friend, escalating the situation dramatically. Despite the ultimately satisfactory quality of the completed work—thanks to a competent crew—Jacob’s unprofessional conduct and bullying behavior made the entire process incredibly stressful and difficult. It became clear that strong project management was essential to avoid such issues, and we ultimately had to fight for every correction.” report abuse
