I had a really frustrating experience getting my septic system certified before selling my house. I contacted Beemer’s, and they immediately told me my tank was non-compliant due to rebar – something two other professionals hadn’t even noticed. By the time I realized this, they’d already filed a non-compliance report. Then, they aggressively pushed a quote that was nearly double what the other companies were offering to replace the tank. Needless to say, I didn’t go through with it, and I ended up going with the next most expensive quote, which did a great job. Strangely, the company that did the work couldn’t even explain why the tank needed replacing. It felt like they just saw an ‘For Sale’ sign and jumped at the chance to make a quick buck. Ultimately, I ended up having to replace the tank, and it unfortunately cost me a sale.
