Overall, working with Innovative Basement Authority was a really positive experience. From the start, Jan was fantastic – he explained everything clearly and gave us a really good overview of our options. Brandon and his crew, James and Joel, were incredibly hardworking and professional; they finished the basement stabilization project quickly and did a really thorough job cleaning up afterward. My only small concern was that they accidentally forgot to plug my freezers back in, but thankfully they were working on the last part of the job and I caught it before anything was affected.

Overall, it was a really positive experience. They clearly outlined their plan upfront, and they stuck to the agreed-upon price. The team, particularly Derick H and Matt J, were fantastic – incredibly professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Everyone was punctual too, which was a nice change!

“Chad and Josh did a fantastic job – they were punctual, worked really efficiently, and completely transformed the driveway! They went above and beyond our expectations, and the cleanup was absolutely perfect. Really great work, guys, and you’re a wonderful ambassador for the company.”

Overall, the crew was fantastic! They arrived on Monday evening and were incredibly efficient, unloading our supplies and protecting everything for the next day’s work. They even tackled a significant portion of the sledgehammering around the basement walls – about 45% – and finished it up completely. They worked tirelessly, from 7:45 am until 6:00 pm, and consistently cleaned up after themselves after each job. Today, they were done by 11:00 am, and went above and beyond by testing the drains and washing the floors to ensure a spotless basement. We are extremely satisfied with their hard work and their care for our home.

“We hired Innovative Basement Systems based on George Lammers’ promises of installing a large number of egress windows. Unfortunately, the final result was incredibly disappointing. For $8400, we received a sloppy installation with terrible cuts and excessive spray foam used to try and hide the poor workmanship. We immediately contacted George about our concerns, but after three weeks, we heard nothing. It became clear they were simply taking our money and disappearing. Thankfully, Adam Johnson from Innovative followed up and, after my initial complaint, a separate contractor was brought in to fix the drywall damage – all at Innovative’s expense.”

“Chad and Josh did a fantastic job with the concrete work at our house – I was really impressed with the whole experience. They were punctual, explained everything clearly, and went above and beyond to clean up after themselves. It’s so refreshing to find tradespeople who take pride in their work, and they truly exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!”

“Chad and Josh did a fantastic job tackling the foundation seepage problem in our basement – they fixed it in two key areas and even installed a new sump pump location. I was really impressed with their professionalism; they kept the work area clean and tidy, and they were incredibly thorough with the cleanup afterward. Chad was especially helpful, taking the time to explain everything to me from the beginning and again during the final walkthrough, answering all my questions patiently.”

“I recently worked with Kendall V. in Bismarck and was really impressed with his quick response and thoroughness. He handled some sudden seepage issues very efficiently, quickly locating the problem. I highly recommend him.”

Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the provided text: “Honestly, this company has been incredibly frustrating to deal with. They initially did a good job leveling my driveway and sidewalk and offered a 5-year warranty, which was reassuring. However, once the caulking started settling and cracking, allowing water to get in, they were completely unresponsive. I contacted them repeatedly, but only ever got voicemail, and the one time I actually spoke to someone, I was told they’d call back within five minutes – a month ago! Their initial response was just a quick acknowledgement of my message. After two weeks of silence, they finally sent a team who did a decent job, but the problem quickly returned. Now, just a few months later, they’re wanting to charge me $4,800 to redo the *exact same work*! The representative was polite, and they said they’d look into the warranty, but I received a response a week later saying I’d signed off on being satisfied – which is completely untrue. I’ve gotten quotes from other companies for significantly less, and I’m extremely dissatisfied with the quality of their work and their lack of follow-through.”
-
“Sam Saldivar and Kyle Woods were fantastic! They really took the time to understand our needs when they walked around the property with us, both before and after they raised the cement in our front and back yards. They were incredibly polite, patient, and explained everything thoroughly, answering all of our questions along the way. We’re so pleased with their work and would absolutely recommend them.”
