  Honestly, the entire experience with this company was incredibly stressful and frustrating. We had booked a lot of equipment and party supplies for our wedding, and I was confident everything was handled. However, two days before the wedding, I called to request an early delivery to help with setup, only to be told they hadn’t even scheduled a delivery for us! It was completely unbelievable and caused a huge panic. They offered absolutely no assistance or concern, just stating they had no trucks available. I ended up scrambling desperately trying to find someone to pick up the rentals before they closed. When we finally arrived, it was clear they weren't busy – employees were just standing around while several delivery trucks were parked on site. It felt incredibly careless and unhelpful. We will absolutely not be using their services again. report abuse

  “I was so pleased with my experience renting from this company! They handled everything perfectly – I ordered a variety of tablecloths and napkins, plus two patio heaters for my wedding, and they delivered exactly what I needed, right on time, which was incredibly helpful.   “I’ve been a loyal customer of TGR for thirteen years now, and I’ve always been really pleased with their service. The equipment is consistently well-maintained, the customer service is top-notch, and their prices are the best around. That being said, I recently had a frustrating experience. I switched equipment types and rental lengths mid-way through my rental, and unfortunately, I was accidentally quoted the wrong weekly rate, which ended up costing me an extra $400. While I wasn’t thrilled with how the manager, Brian, handled the situation – he didn’t seem to take any responsibility for the miscommunication – it didn’t completely change my opinion. I’ve had so many positive experiences with TGR over the years, and I still think they’re the best choice for rental equipment in Flagstaff.” report abuse

  I can’t recommend this store. My experience was incredibly frustrating – the staff were consistently rude and dismissive, and they completely refused to take responsibility for a faulty $1200 saw. They essentially blamed me for the issue, which was unacceptable. Honestly, I wouldn't give them more than a one-star rating if I could. report abuse

  I was really excited to get back into using a chainsaw, and I decided to go with a Husqvarna 460 Rancher. Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about getting it serviced, especially since I’d never used a rental store’s service department before. But I was pleasantly surprised! The team at Total Grand Rental were fantastic – incredibly knowledgeable and patient, answering all my questions and concerns. I actually had a starting issue with the saw when it was warm, and I called them from about 45 miles away, and they walked me through the proper warm start procedure. Once I brought it in for the free post-purchase adjustment, it’s been running like a dream! I’ve cut at least ten loads of firewood this fall, and this chainsaw is incredibly reliable and tough. It’s even cutting juniper and oak just as quickly as my old, heavy commercial saw – and it’s significantly quieter. Husqvarna’s aren’t the cheapest, but for the reliability you get, it’s a great value. A huge thanks to the entire team at TGR; they really know their stuff and are fantastic to work with! report abuse

  John and the team were fantastic! I needed a 3x2 female to female reducer for a cross-country move, and they went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to complete the installation.
