“After two years, we started noticing pieces of our roof were on the ground, which was really concerning. We contacted the roofers, and they quickly identified the problem – the bath fans had been installed incorrectly. They pointed out the rust and exposed screws, and warned us that this would eventually lead to water damage in the attic. Despite this, I’ve been trying to get Northstar to address the issue, calling them and sending an email through the BBB, but I haven't received any response at all. Frankly, I’m incredibly disappointed and I’m going to have to find another company to fix this.”

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend these guys. They completely threw a wrench in my plans by delaying the project two days at the last minute, calling me just a day after they were supposed to begin. It caused a massive headache because I had to scramble to relocate my foster animals. Beyond that, they left a really messy spray insulation job all over the outlets and window sills. But the worst part was that they completely disregarded my request to submit the Centerpoint rebate application – they’d been recommended by CEE for that, and I’d specifically mentioned my interest in the air sealing and insulation to qualify for the rebate. After that, they just stopped responding to me, and now I’ve lost $1300 because of the lack of communication, and the rebate deadline is looming in just three days.
