I got quotes from several companies, including J&K, and I was so relieved when Jason took a look. He quickly identified a simple wiring problem, fixed it, and the furnace started working perfectly! They explained it was beyond repair and provided us with a fair quote and three different options, including a recommendation for a 4-ton unit which they installed in just three days – both inside and out. We’re incredibly happy with the quality of their work and the team was really friendly and helpful.   Overall, our experience with this company was a real mixed bag. Initially, we were incredibly pleased – the technicians were friendly, professional, and even brought popsicles for the kids when our old unit went out during the hottest part of the summer. They were responsive and helpful, and we appreciated their willingness to work with us as we saved up for a replacement. However, things quickly went downhill after that. Our new heater malfunctioned in November, and while the initial repair seemed okay, things deteriorated significantly. Repeated calls went unanswered, and a scheduled service was missed entirely. What really frustrated us was the dismissive attitude we encountered when we tried to resolve the issue – particularly focusing on potential overtime charges instead of addressing the underlying problem. The one bright spot was our contact with one of the customer service representatives, who was consistently helpful and pleasant. Sadly, it wasn’t enough to offset the inconsistent and ultimately frustrating service we received. After a series of issues and unnecessary visits, we ended up paying for a problem that originated with the initial installation, and it’s left us feeling like we were taken advantage of. While Jason was always a friendly face, the current level of service is simply unacceptable. report abuse

  “We reached out to the original installers regarding some warranty work, but they were unresponsive until the unit completely stopped working. Thankfully, we contacted J & K, and they immediately took action. They listened to our concerns – we spoke about it on a Friday – and the very next Monday they’d already reached out to the manufacturer. Within a few days, they had the unit repaired, which was incredibly reassuring given the potential for issues during freezing temperatures. While they weren’t responsible for the initial installation, they went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. We truly appreciate J & K’s responsiveness and care – they’ve earned our business, and we’ll be using them for all our business and personal needs from now on!” report abuse

The team arrived on time, completed the installation in just under two hours, and even installed a new shut-off valve as recommended.
