“I’ve consistently used Harrison Engineering for my reports on loans – particularly for manufactured, construction, and residential projects. They’re a reliable and cost-effective option, and they always deliver their work promptly.”
-
“I was initially a little hesitant after hearing some negative feedback, but I have to say my experience was really positive. They were incredibly responsive and were able to schedule an inspector for me quickly, which I really appreciated. They did charge for mileage, which is standard, but overall, I’m grateful for their service and would absolutely use them again if I needed another inspection.”
-
“I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. Their practices felt completely dishonest – it’s like they’re intentionally exploiting homeowners. They’ll send an inspector, bill you a huge sum, and then fabricate issues, like minor surface rust, to justify another expensive visit. Honestly, it felt like a scam, and I strongly advise anyone considering using them to avoid this company entirely.”
-
“I was really impressed with Harrison Engineering (LLC) – they were incredibly professional and got things done very quickly. I’d definitely recommend them.”
-
“Overall, I had a really positive experience. The ordering process was quick and simple, and my order arrived within a couple of days – which was fantastic. I’d definitely use this company again.”

I’d strongly advise against using this company. Their billing is completely unreasonable, and frankly, the engineers are completely unresponsive – they won’t take a phone call. They claim it’s for customer protection, but it just seems like a way to avoid communication. Trying to get a clear explanation of the technical work they’re requesting is a nightmare; they insist on communicating everything via email, which inevitably leads to misunderstandings and wasted time and money. My contractor was particularly frustrated because he needed to discuss the costs with the engineer, and a simple phone call would have resolved the issue. It’s clear they aren’t prioritizing your concerns, and for good reason – they won’t even talk to you. Seriously, find a company that’s willing to have a real conversation; and for their sake, I’d suggest they consider recording those calls for their own protection.

“I was really impressed with how quickly they got my certification done. I placed the order on a Thursday and it was ready for pickup by Monday – fantastic service!”

“I hired this company for a structural report on a property, and I was extremely disappointed with the service. My borrower paid $695 for the report, only to be told they couldn’t fulfill the basic request for preventative measures – they essentially said they wouldn’t provide the report unless they were going to monitor the property indefinitely. It felt like they were taking the money and then refusing to deliver on their promise, and it’s a practice that mirrors concerns raised in other negative reviews I’ve read. I would strongly advise against using this company.”
-
“They were incredibly quick and efficient during the inspections.”
-
“I cannot recommend this company. Our experience was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, damaging to our closing timeline. We ran into the exact same problem as ADKG – missing tie-downs – and it caused a five-day delay. To make matters worse, we were then hit with a $225 charge to correct the report to meet the title company’s requirements, a cost that wasn’t disclosed to anyone beforehand. They seemed to insist on specific items being included, even though those requirements didn’t align with FHA standards. The customer service representative was shockingly unprofessional, telling my client to control his tone during a discussion. Honestly, the whole situation felt completely off and I believe this company needs to be avoided at all costs.”
