  CJ and his team did an absolutely fantastic job waterproofing my basement – they’ve actually completed two separate jobs now, and I’d definitely hire them again without hesitation if I needed any more work done. From the very first contact, CJ was incredibly responsive; he always answered his phone or got back to me quickly, which was a huge difference from other contractors I spoke with who just didn’t return my calls. He was prompt, came to assess the situation the same day, and sent over a detailed estimate the next day. What really impressed me was how knowledgeable he is – he took the time to explain everything clearly so I fully understood the issues and the proposed solution. Plus, the price was very reasonable and he stuck to the estimate perfectly for both jobs.   “We’ve had a really difficult experience with CJ Cosme and his company. We’d worked with him before and generally found him reliable, but recently he rented a dumpster and then simply vanished, refusing to pay the invoice. He initially promised to use a credit card, but never followed through. We haven't heard from him since, and he's now using a different phone number – likely to avoid contact. It’s disheartening, as he used to be a good customer, but he’s clearly changed, and we absolutely cannot trust him to fulfill his obligations.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. Based on multiple accounts, including my own, it’s clear this is a scam. The owner, C.J., advertises unbelievably low prices, but this is because he doesn't pay his workers. I hired him for a basement job, and the process was a complete disaster. It took weeks, and when he finally claimed it was “finished,” I ended up needing to hire another company to fix the shoddy, unfinished work. I even had two former employees come to my door concerned about being unpaid after being hired through Craigslist. The quality of the work is so poor that it’s now impacting the value of my home – the housing inspector found significant issues with my floor and foundation just six months after C.J.’s crew supposedly completed the job.   CJ and his team were fantastic! I found them through Home Advisor and was really stressed because I was worried about a frost and needed a french drain installed quickly. CJ answered my call immediately, which was a huge relief. He wasn’t pushy at all and listened to my needs. While he recommended an indoor drain – which I hadn’t even considered – he was totally willing to work with us on an outdoor solution, and he offered a lifetime guarantee on that. They arrived on time, were incredibly polite and hardworking, and even when we realized we’d made a mistake with our measurements (making the job smaller than we thought), they adjusted the bill without any extra charges.   I’m incredibly disappointed and frankly, deeply concerned about my experience with this individual. He took my money and then completely vanished, ignoring all my calls and texts for the past four months. It’s become clear he’s a smooth operator and incredibly unreliable.
