  “We were so thrilled with the transformation of our kitchen! It was a really special project – we wanted to bring in a modern, light, and airy feel into our 1830s home, while still preserving the beautiful original character of the rest of the house. Sam was fantastic throughout the whole process, he really helped us navigate the challenge of blending old and new.   “We were so thrilled with the transformation Sam Williams created in our parents’ bathroom. About a year and a half ago, my dad had a stroke that left him with limited mobility on his right side, and their small bathroom just wasn’t safe anymore. After a particularly difficult fall, we decided it was time for a complete redesign. We found Sam through my sister, who’d had him remodel her whole house, and we immediately knew we’d made the right choice. Sam took the time to really understand our needs – he carefully measured the space and considered how to expand it to accommodate a wheelchair, all while working within the constraints of their existing bedrooms. He presented us with several options, and importantly, he listened to my dad’s preferences and our budget. What really impressed us was his expertise in creating accessible spaces; he suggested a wall-hung toilet, which we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, and it made a huge difference in the room’s functionality. But beyond his design skills, Sam was incredibly patient and reassuring, especially with my mom who was understandably anxious about the whole project. He made multiple visits to walk her through the designs on the computer, patiently answering all her questions and easing her concerns. The new bathroom is fantastic – it feels enormous compared to before, is beautifully designed, and has completely exceeded our expectations.   Sam was a fantastic addition to our renovation project. He truly took the time to understand exactly what we were hoping to achieve, listening carefully to our wants and needs. He then surprised us with some brilliant ideas, incorporating everything we asked for and even suggesting some fantastic extras we hadn’t considered ourselves! The result is absolutely incredible – our kids now have beautiful, open rooms with walk-in closets and a bathroom that my wife and I are seriously envious of. He seamlessly integrated the addition into the house, making it look like a natural part of the design.   From the moment my husband and I started planning our total home remodel, we were completely overwhelmed – it’s so different from those amazing home renovation shows! Thankfully, a friend recommended Jen and Sam, and from the first conversation, it was clear they were exactly what we needed. They were both incredibly kind, patient, and really knowledgeable about design. Sam went above and beyond, meticulously measuring our space and presenting us with a huge range of floor plans for every room. He really listened to our vision and helped us transform our outdated kitchen, living room, and dining room into a beautiful, open space that we now love spending time in, as well as turning our ugly screened-in porch into my husband’s fantastic new hangout! He even helped us create a stunning owner’s suite and finished basement for our family of five. Because our house is tri-level, changing the layout was a real challenge, but Sam particularly helped us with our garage conversion – it was a huge worry for me, and he addressed it perfectly, creating several 3D designs until we found the perfect solution. What really stood out was Sam’s commitment throughout the whole project. He wasn’t just an architect; he was involved, checking in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly and that the contractor understood our vision. It was such a relief knowing he was there, and we truly felt like we were working with friends.
