“The engineer came out to discuss garage options, and he presented us with two plans. However, we’ve always done our own renovations around the house, so we didn’t need to hire a contractor based on his suggestions. He was pretty firm that he wouldn’t offer any alternative ideas. Interestingly, I’ve used an engineer before for a different project – removing some load-bearing walls upstairs – and I ended up needing to call someone else specifically to get a pole taken out of my garage.”
-
“I was really impressed with this service. They were incredibly thorough and fast, which gave me a huge sense of security when buying my house. They came up with solutions that worked for my budget and were always super responsive – I’d definitely recommend them!”
-
“Overall, I’m really pleased with the work. It felt like a worthwhile investment – a high-quality result that definitely justified the cost.”
-
“Overall, I was very disappointed with this service. They misrepresented the time they’d actually spend on the project and added unexpected, excessive fees through a complicated and lengthy report. What was most concerning was their tactic of holding back important documents until they’d collected additional payments beyond the initial fee – it felt like extortion.”
-
“Unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure a win in General Sessions Court. Having SEI step in and advocate for homeowners facing a difficult situation with a contractor who failed to meet their obligations was absolutely crucial to our case.”
-
“I was really pleased with Structural Engineering & Inspections – the engineer they sent to our home did a fantastic job and I’d definitely recommend them.”
