Matt from Larry & Sons was fantastic – he was really easy to get in touch with to schedule an assessment, and he did a great job of helping us figure out what was going on.

“We’ve been so lucky with our house for the past 18 years, but recently we had a plumbing problem that really shook us! We started hearing this strange humming vibration and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Thankfully, we contacted Larry & Sons and they sent Matt Eckenrode out. Matt was fantastic – he was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to really explain everything to us. He didn’t just tell us what was wrong, he walked us through it, letting us feel the pulsing in the pipe connected to our pressure relief valve. It turned out that valve hadn't been replaced in about 10 years! He then installed new shutoff valves that were much easier to reach. Honestly, we realized we could have probably tackled this ourselves, but we’re so glad we didn’t. Matt pointed out a serious situation we hadn’t even realized existed, and without his expertise, we could have faced a huge, expensive emergency. He was so transparent and showed us exactly what was going on, which really built our trust in him and Larry & Sons. We wholeheartedly recommend them – we’re incredibly grateful for their help!”

Larry and Sons were unfortunately not a good fit for my HVAC replacement project. I got three quotes, and they were significantly more expensive than the others. The salesperson greatly overestimated the capacity I needed, and they didn't even bother to follow up with me after providing the initial estimate. It was a really unprofessional experience, and I missed an opportunity to potentially use their services given I had two existing systems to consider.

“I was really disappointed with my experience with Office. During our call, they were dismissive and insisted they’d only speak to the property owner. I simply requested a general quote for a 2.5T installation, but they responded by saying we’d need to wait for the landlord to call. Given that the owner is a family member, it felt incredibly unprofessional, and we’ve decided to take our business to another company.”

“I was really disappointed with this company. They quoted me $5,000 to replace my water heater – that’s an absolutely outrageous price! I got two other quotes for under half that amount, and the unit itself was only $1500. To charge $3500 for the labor alone is completely unreasonable. The other contractor was incredibly efficient, finishing the job in just 45 minutes. Honestly, there are plenty of much more reasonable and competent contractors in the area – I wouldn’t recommend using these guys.”
-
“I’ve used Larry and Son Plumbing twice now – once for my house and once at my workplace – and I was incredibly impressed both times. They were always really prompt and they clearly knew their stuff. Honestly, I’ve spent 44 years in construction and I’ve dealt with a lot of plumbers over the years, but these guys are truly top-notch.”

“Larry and Sons were fantastic – they really went above and beyond to get our leaking water boiler replaced quickly. They responded to our after-hours call so promptly, and were even there first thing the next morning. I especially appreciated their helpful advice over the phone about shutting off the water – it was a huge relief after dealing with so many different companies. The technician was great, and they completed the job the same day. We thought the price was very reasonable, and the visit fee was noticeably lower than we’d been quoted by others. Just a heads-up, though, they don’t handle Washington Gas energy rebates.”

Overall, I’d definitely recommend these guys – their tech was fantastic. Jeremiah, in particular, was a real lifesaver. He quickly diagnosed our leaky shower, and he went above and beyond, replacing the cartridge twice and even tackling a stubborn calcium buildup to get it working perfectly. He also gave us a helpful estimate for some other work and warned us about the dodgy water valves the builder installed. The only downside was the scheduling – they were really vague about their hours, just saying “between 8 and 4,” and the 30-minute arrival notice was often way off.
-
“Shannon did a really thorough job checking out my old water heater – it was about 15 years old. He gave me some great options, including pricing for both a tankless system and a full replacement. I ultimately went with the replacement with the lifetime warranty, and I was really impressed when Shannon said he had a tank available and could actually get it installed that same day! The price was a little higher than expected, but honestly, it’s pretty standard these days. Overall, the service was incredibly professional, and I’d absolutely call Larry & Son’s again if I ever needed anything.”
-
“Unfortunately, the technician didn’t show up at all. I contacted them to let them know, and while they apologized, it didn’t seem like they were taking the issue seriously. They offered to reschedule for two weeks out, but I couldn’t even get a clear understanding of the work or the price involved since they never arrived.”
