  Honestly, we had a really disappointing experience with Home Depot. We were so excited to finally get our new house ready, and we were hoping to upgrade our bedrooms with a durable, high-quality carpet and pad – we needed something that could handle three kids and a lot of pets. We specifically chose a more expensive option, but it turned out to be complete junk. The carpet has shed terribly for years, and it’s honestly just trash. To add to the frustration, the salesman never responded to our complaints, and we’re left with a terrible-looking, overpriced floor. And on top of that, the hardwood he recommended had a poor installation. We would definitely urge anyone considering Home Depot for flooring to proceed with caution. report abuse

  Overall, we were incredibly pleased with Peterson’s. From start to finish, the team was fantastic – Ken was particularly knowledgeable and really worked with us to keep us within our budget, and Sarah was so friendly and helpful. The installation crew was also outstanding; they were incredibly fast and professional, and we really appreciated their positive attitude.   “I was absolutely thrilled with the work Petersen did on our 2nd floor. They completely transformed the space by replacing the old, outdated carpet – and it was a relief to finally have something beautiful! From start to finish, the process was fantastic. They gave us a great selection of options and even let us take samples home to match with our paint colors. Once we decided, they came out, measured accurately, and the installation was incredibly smooth. Seriously, it was a perfect fit! They were so professional – they moved all our furniture and were incredibly careful with everything. They even tackled the tricky job of installing carpet around our built-ins and inside the closets, and it looks absolutely amazing. I was a little worried about the size of the job – about 1900 square feet – but the crew quickly assessed it and assured us it would be easy, and they delivered! And the best part? They were 33% cheaper than Home Depot’s quote, with much better quality carpet and padding. It’s like walking on a cloud!   Petersen’s did a fantastic job installing the engineered wood floors in our townhouse – we absolutely love the finished result and are so pleased with their workmanship. The installers were incredibly efficient, professional, and really took care to keep our place clean throughout the whole process. From start to finish, the quote process was also really helpful; they explained everything clearly and I felt like I was getting expert advice, which gave me a lot of confidence in choosing them.   “We were really pleased with Peterson’s Flooring – it’s fantastic to see such a consistently high standard of work. We’d previously hired them to do a complete flooring replacement in our basement, and they did an absolutely brilliant job, so we turned to them again for our family room. They expertly removed the old carpeting and installed hardwood, transforming the space completely. Not only did it look amazing, but they also tackled a persistent creaking sound issue, which was a huge bonus. And Cristian and the installation team were just amazing. They took care of everything, from removing the old carpet to installing the new one and even vacuuming up every last bit of dust.
