  “I’m so glad I chose Abby for my deck demolition and rebuild back in 2019 – the quality of the work and the whole experience were fantastic, and I was completely satisfied. However, a few years later, I ran into an unexpected issue. While working on a different project, I found that the county hadn’t properly documented the final inspection of the deck Abby had built. I tried to get the county to fix it, but they ultimately rejected the records Abby had, citing outdated building codes. What really impressed me was Abby and Chris’s response. Chris personally went back out, made the necessary changes to bring the deck up to current code, and resolved the issue with the county. It’s truly remarkable customer service, especially these days, and it’s clear that Abby and Chris genuinely care about their clients.   We were absolutely thrilled with our experience working with Abby Construction. Chris was fantastic from the start – incredibly professional, always punctual, and just a pleasure to have around. What really stood out was the quality of their work and the fact that they delivered on their promises, which isn't always the case with construction companies. When the concrete company we’d initially hired didn’t show, Chris stepped in and had his team out there to complete the job on time, even though it wasn’t part of the original plan. He also kept us fully informed about each step of the process, patiently answering all our questions and making sure we understood everything.   Abby Construction truly exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional and reliable – especially Chris, my project manager. He consistently kept me updated on the progress and made sure I was happy with everything, even checking in regularly on-site. The quality of the portico they built is fantastic, and I’m so pleased with the results.   Abby Construction really exceeded our expectations! They recently completed two separate projects at our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We were initially worried about some cracking in our walls and issues with the crown molding – it turned out to be a fairly common problem, but Abby’s team handled it like pros. They leveled the entire house under the crawl space in just one day, which was fantastic. The cracks are completely gone, and the molding is perfectly back in place. Then, we had them replace our front entry door, and again, they did a superb job. They were incredibly careful and tidy, leaving our house spotless after they were finished. Mike, John, and Chris were fantastic – they were always professional, patient, and clearly explained everything. The crews – Mike, Daryl, Danny, and John – were all incredibly respectful and did a truly outstanding job. We’ll definitely be using Abby Construction for any future projects we have! report abuse

  Abby Construction did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling the front of the Fredericksburg City Health Department. We were so impressed with the final result – it looks beautiful! Chris was fantastic at keeping us updated on the progress, and the entire crew was a pleasure to work with.   Chris and the team at Mike’s were fantastic – truly a pleasure to work with. Abby was especially reliable and always kept us fully in the loop, and she really worked with us to stay within our budget. I’ve used them on two major projects – flooring and foundation – over the years, and it was great to see familiar, skilled faces on the crews returning for the second time, which speaks volumes about how they treat their employees.   Overall, we were really pleased with Abbey’s work on our home in College Heights. Our original house was charming, but just wasn’t meeting our needs. They were fantastic at working with the existing layout, creatively moving walls and raising the floor to create a more modern and functional space. While the project took a bit longer than initially anticipated, given the complexities involved, it was a reasonable delay. We especially appreciate the expanded master bedroom and full bath, and the improved floor plan has given us a much better flow throughout the house. We’re currently working with Abbey on designing a screened-in porch, and we’re excited to continue our project with them. report abuse
