  “We’ve really been impressed with Horizon – this is our third project with them, and they’ve consistently done a fantastic job. Specifically, the work they did on the bathrooms was outstanding. For this latest project, replacing the cross beams and side posts on our patio cover and covering it in stone, they absolutely nailed it. We’ve gotten so many compliments on how great it looks, and we’ve included some before and after photos to show just how impressive the transformation is.” report abuse

  Overall, I’m really happy with the work Horizon did on my home addition back in 2003. The quality of the construction is solid, and I feel confident in the structure. I especially want to commend Nestor for his painting and molding work and Jason for his electrical work – they were both fantastic. I appreciated how Horizon broke down the project into phases with a really clear estimate, and Michael, our project manager, was always responsive. Just a word of advice – make sure they include *everything* in the contract because it’s much easier to negotiate before you sign! It’s been wonderful to be back in my home, and I’ve gotten lots of compliments from the neighbors. I’m just looking forward to having the attic access installed, which was a great surprise inclusion in the original project. report abuse

  Working with Michaelangelo and the team at Horizon Construction & Remodeling was truly exceptional. Our project – a complete remodel of a historic 1925 hillside home – started as a challenging 10 out of 10, but Michaelangelo and his crew tackled it with incredible skill and dedication. Initially, we faced a major issue with the existing framing, requiring a full tear-down and rebuild. Given the notoriously difficult permitting process in our hillside city, Horizon really went above and beyond. They expertly navigated the planning and building departments, securing the necessary plans for the new house and two substantial retaining walls. What I particularly appreciated was their innovative, in-house approach. Recognizing my budget constraints, they seamlessly combined a draftsman, engineer, and contractor to create a truly collaborative process. I was able to contribute my ideas for layout, design elements like windows and fireplaces, and room sizes, and they expertly translated those concepts into detailed, city-approved plans. They ensured everything met the highest standards, including crucial earthquake-resistant construction and addressing the specific challenges of our high-risk hillside location. Michaelangelo’s team was simply outstanding. They transformed my initial ideas, even sketches and hand-drawn concepts, into stunning reality. They brought a remarkable level of attention to detail, from designing the cabinetry and tile schemes to selecting fixtures – everything just came to life as we envisioned. The result is a breathtaking, magazine-worthy home – we've added 10-foot ceilings, extended the master bathroom and closet, and created four bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with two retaining walls and extensive concrete work. Honestly, Michaelangelo and Horizon turned a potentially stressful experience into a beautiful, family-friendly home.   “We’ve been so pleased with Horizon Construction & Remodeling – it’s fantastic to be working with them for a third time! We started with them remodeling our bathroom, and then we hired them again to completely remodel our kitchen and upgrade our electrical panel. Mark was a huge help, guiding us through our design and offering really smart suggestions that elevated the whole kitchen. The team doing the actual work were fantastic – incredibly polite, professional, and meticulous about cleaning up after themselves. They were always punctual and really respectful of our home. Honestly, the quality of their work is outstanding, and they even managed to seamlessly handle a significant change in scope when we discovered plumbing issues and needed to completely replumb the entire house – all while still sticking to the original timeline.   “We were so pleased with Horizon Construction and Remodel of Fullerton – especially with David Eskin, our project manager. They completely revamped our 1971 kitchen, bringing both the plumbing and electrical systems up to current standards. David did a fantastic job of keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process, even though we were living quite a distance from the site.   Mark and his team did an absolutely fantastic job adding onto our home. From the initial planning stages, where they helped us develop a great layout, to getting the project approved by the city – they handled everything seamlessly. We especially appreciated their proactive approach and the timely completion of the addition. We even found the perfect flooring at their showroom to tie everything together. The only slight delay was with the city’s approval process, but Mark and his team kept us informed every step of the way.
