  “I hired Surveillance Secure with the understanding that they could work with and repair my existing security system. They initially assured me they could do this, and their technicians came out and seemed to agree it was a solid system. However, two of my cameras weren't working, and when I explained my very tall ceilings, they didn’t bring any equipment to actually examine the cameras. Instead, the next day they presented a $5,000 quote for a completely new system – they didn't even attempt to troubleshoot the existing one. I feel completely misled and extremely dissatisfied with their service.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly frustrated with the service I’ve received. The installation was shockingly poor – there was bad wiring and missing screws, and I haven’t been able to get the TC app to work. Worst of all, I’ve been completely unable to reach anyone at the office to get help. Paying $80 a month for this level of service is unacceptable, and frankly, I feel completely let down. To be clear, my son-in-law’s employment situation had absolutely no bearing on the substandard work I received, or the lengthy one-month delay in getting a response. It’s unbelievable that you’re responding to my concerns in such an unprofessional manner. I expected better, especially as a paying customer. I’m prepared to provide photos of the installation issues, and I truly hope you take this feedback seriously and actually do something to improve your service. report abuse

I’ve been using their services for a few years now, and I’ve always been really impressed with their responsiveness and willingness to adapt to our specific needs – especially after the initial setup.   My mom has always been incredibly concerned about our safety, especially after my dad passed away in 2010. As a family, we’ve lived in Northwest DC for generations, and unfortunately, our neighborhood has seen its share of break-ins and robberies. She became completely fixated on monitoring crime reports, which was honestly driving us all crazy with constant alerts. Thankfully, Surveillance Secure stepped in and completely changed things. Kim and his team were fantastic – they installed a security camera that my mom can now watch on her TV, and I can even monitor it remotely from my phone. What really made the difference was the time they took to train her on the system; she’s 84 and it wasn't easy for her to learn, but they were so patient and thorough. Now, finally, I can sleep soundly knowing she’s safe, and my mom is so much more relaxed. report abuse

  We’re extremely disappointed with our experience with this company. We invested a significant amount of money in security cameras, but we’ve repeatedly encountered issues and been met with a refusal to provide service. Despite multiple calls to get the cameras fixed – and this isn't the first time they’ve malfunctioned – the company now states they no longer service residential camera systems. It’s incredibly frustrating that this wasn’t communicated to us during the initial installation, and we feel misled. We've contacted your office directly on several occasions without resolution. Ultimately, we believe the company should only be in business if they are prepared to fulfill their service commitments.” report abuse
