From the initial consultation to getting my Certificate of Occupancy for the ADU, it required very little of my time or effort.   “We’re absolutely thrilled with our new 1-Bedroom Cover ADU – it’s everything we hoped for and more! Honestly, after seeing some of the Cover content online and visiting a unit, you can tell they’re committed to really high-quality materials and design. What really surprised us, and what we hadn’t anticipated, was just how incredibly fast the whole process was. From getting the permits cleared to receiving our Certificate of Occupancy, it was amazing. They had the permits cleared in under a month, breaking ground took just 45 days, and the entire process – from the initial agreement to getting the CO – was completed in just 3.5 months! It’s clear the whole Cover team worked together seamlessly, but I want to give a special shout-out to a few people. Alexis and Jemuel's tech expertise is seriously impressive – they’ve really nailed the build process. And Rico and Alden were fantastic, constantly finding creative ways to add upgrades without changing our upfront pricing. Finally, Leor deserves a huge thank you for keeping the project on track and keeping the inspectors happy. It’s such a relief to have the ADU finished on time and within budget.   I was so thrilled with Cover – it truly delivered exactly what I’d been hoping for. We had a tricky bit of land in our backyard, a steep slope leading down to the street, and we wanted to make the most of it. The idea of an ADU, either for renting out or for our aging parents, seemed like the perfect solution. We went with Cover and appreciated their thoughtful design process; they really listened to our vision and helped us create a fantastic space. What’s amazing is that they not only designed the unit itself, but they also built the retaining wall and carport, which have gotten tons of compliments – the concrete walls are just stunning! We were even lucky enough to spend a night in the finished unit before the new tenants moved in, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a beautifully finished, custom home. If you’re considering building a small house or studio on your property, I can’t recommend Cover enough. report abuse

  Cover Build were absolutely brilliant – we had such a great experience designing and building our garden studio with them. Rico and the whole team were incredibly professional, really easy to work with, and kept us fully informed throughout the whole process. I was particularly blown away by their designs; they’re so modern and stylish, with a fantastic level of detail. I’ve seen a couple of their completed projects and they’re truly outstanding – I honestly wish they could have built our entire house! report abuse

  Overall, our experience with ADU’s was really promising. We met with four different companies, and the range of designs and pricing was quite varied. “Cover” stood out as the clear winner – the consultation process with Rico and Anna was genuinely delightful; they really took the time to understand our vision and turned our wish list into something that felt like a high-end design firm’s work. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and city restrictions, we weren’t able to visit other sites to refine our plans as they offered. Despite that, the renderings they produced were stunning – modern, well-thought-out, and perfect for our limited space. Because of that, we had to pause the project, but I would absolutely recommend “Cover” to anyone looking for a full-service ADU company. report abuse
