  “I’m extremely disappointed with this company. Frankly, I believe they’re engaging in questionable business practices – they seem to be paying kickbacks to title companies to secure work, which is deeply concerning. As someone who works in commercial construction and regularly utilizes surveyors, I found them to be significantly more expensive than any other company I’ve dealt with, and their service was completely incompetent. It’s concerning enough that I feel they should be investigated by the state for potential corruption. They’re simply not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend them.” report abuse

  “I had a really frustrating experience with CBG. They were hired by the seller to survey the land I bought, and shortly after, my neighbor installed a fence that appeared to encroach on my property based on CBG’s initial survey. I contacted the neighbor, their title company, and the survey company they used, and they confirmed CBG’s survey was accurate. However, CBG refused to acknowledge the issue and insisted I pay $600 for them to investigate. Ultimately, they couldn’t even confirm who was right, leaving me with a potentially inaccurate survey and the risk of owning more land than I actually purchased. Frankly, I expected a surveyor to take responsibility for their work and address any discrepancies they identified. Because of this, I strongly recommend finding a different surveying company – CBG simply wasn’t willing to stand behind their work.” report abuse

She kept me updated every step of the way, confirming everything before the surveyor crew, Robert and Nicholas, arrived. They were both professional and punctual, and the measurement process went incredibly smoothly.   “I’m incredibly frustrated with the service I received. I have the original plat map for my property and know exactly where my property line is. Unfortunately, the survey conducted by this company was completely inaccurate. They attempted to claim a significantly larger area than my property actually occupies – over two feet! This resulted in my neighbor erecting a fence that had to be dismantled due to their incorrect measurements. Frankly, their work is incompetent and I believe they’re operating as a scam. Worse, they didn’t even speak to me, the property owner, instead talking to my neighbor. They used inappropriate tools and, incredibly, entered my backyard without my permission while I was away. I strongly advise against using this company – they simply don’t understand how to conduct a proper property survey.” report abuse

  “Overall, the field crew was fantastic – really knowledgeable and a great help. However, we experienced some serious communication issues internally that significantly hampered our progress. It felt like no one had a clear understanding of the project, and we were met with a lot of excuses when trying to get straightforward answers. Despite working with a technically complex project, we expected more efficient communication, especially given we hired an expert team. The repeated no-shows were incredibly frustrating, and we’ll be looking for a different firm going forward.” report abuse
