“I’m really frustrated with the lack of communication regarding a refund. I had originally scheduled a survey, then cancelled it a few days later, and thankfully they processed the cancellation and issued a refund. However, a month later, I’m still waiting for my $757 to be returned. I’ve contacted them multiple times – by phone and email – but haven’t received any response. I even requested a call back today and haven’t heard anything. It’s incredibly concerning that I’m still waiting and haven’t gotten any updates.”

“I had a really frustrating experience with this company. I initially contacted them to schedule a survey and was asked to pay an upfront fee. After calling two days later to cancel, I was assured a refund would be processed immediately. It’s now been two months, and despite repeated attempts to reach the receptionist who took my payment, I still haven’t received my money back. The owners aren’t available and haven’t returned my calls – it’s clear there’s no accountability, so I would caution others to be wary.”

“I was really impressed with Rhodes Surveying. I contacted a few surveying companies in the DFW area and they were definitely the most responsive – they got the job done quickly and at a great price. They were professional from start to finish, and I’d absolutely use them again for any future surveying needs.”

I'm incredibly disappointed with this company. I hired them to locate some missing markers and their service has been completely unacceptable. They provided a quote and required a prepayment upfront, which I promptly made. Despite this, I’m still not scheduled for a service appointment, and they’ve failed to respond to my calls. It’s been weeks, and I feel like I’ve been completely ignored. This is a dishonest and frustrating experience, and I’m seriously considering disputing the charges with my credit card company.

“I’ve been incredibly pleased with this organization for my homebuilding and land projects. They’re really professional and responsive – I always appreciate being able to speak with someone directly and receiving prompt email confirmations about schedules and updates. Plus, their prices are very competitive and the team is genuinely friendly and helpful. Definitely a 5-star experience!”

“I had a really frustrating experience with this company. I hired them to conduct a basic stake and survey for a new water line on my property easement, and it was a complete disaster. I paid over $1,000 for a residential survey – and they didn’t even include my house! There was absolutely no communication about timelines, and I was never notified when the survey was finished. They just put up four corner markers tied to trees without letting me know or being present. Then, I received the survey via email, but it was missing the crucial information about the utility easement – which, frankly, they should have known about. When I called to inquire, the associate blamed *me* for the missing easement, insisting I was responsible for finding it in county records. It was unbelievable! It’s standard practice for surveys to include this information, and it felt like they were trying to shift the blame. Finally, they gave me an estimate for marking the property line with stakes – charging me $4.00 a stake when the market price is only $1.00. This whole experience felt like a blatant attempt to overcharge and make me do the work of a surveyor. I strongly advise against using this company.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with this company’s work. They significantly delayed our outdoor renovation by nearly three weeks by failing to deliver on their promises. We specifically requested detailed drawings and renderings to submit for permits, but instead, we received a basic survey with just a few added lines. It’s clear they weren’t fulfilling their obligations, and frankly, their behavior was unprofessional. As a result, I’ve had to hire another contractor – essentially losing out on $2,000 because of their poor performance. I would not recommend using this company.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience working with this company. Frankly, it’s been one of the most challenging and unprofessional experiences I’ve had in my 20+ years working with survey companies. Their behavior has been consistently unpredictable, and they’ve frequently misrepresented information via emails and phone calls. I’ve built a successful business relying on survey data since 2001, and I strongly advise others to avoid doing business with them.”

“I was incredibly impressed with the entire experience! The office staff were fantastic – so friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They clearly know their stuff, and the surveying team was also really nice and efficient. I’d absolutely use their services again and confidently recommend them to anyone needing similar work.”

“I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to express how incredibly helpful Rhodes Surveying was. I had a really urgent situation – a neighbor issue requiring a property survey by Saturday morning. I contacted several surveyors, but no one was available. Rhodes Surveying immediately understood my need and sent a crew out first thing tomorrow. I really appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to help.”
