  We absolutely love our new hardwood floors! My wife and I had the floors in our living room, dining room, foyer, and upstairs hallway sanded and re-stained, as well as the steps, and the whole process was fantastic. From start to finish, Next Day Floors was outstanding. John Schmelzer, our sales representative, was a real pleasure to work with – he was so friendly, professional, and really knew his stuff. And Esbin and his team did an incredible job; you could tell they took a lot of pride in their work.   Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Next Day Floors. We recently got new carpet for our whole house – the living room, dining room, hall, and stairs – and we’re so pleased with the results. We really appreciated working with Joe Clark, the store manager. He was incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to walk us through all the different carpet options, from Mohawk’s SmartStrand to the various weaves and padding. He never pressured us and even gave us samples to take home and see in our own house, which really helped us make an informed decision. Once we settled on SmartStrand, Joe gave us plenty of time to prepare our house for the installation, and he didn't push us at all. When the installation team, Elmer and Cleaver, arrived on time, they did a truly excellent job – they were respectful and professional, and the finished carpet looks absolutely terrific.   “We were really disappointed with the process of getting our remnant carpet bound. We were initially told it would take about two weeks, and we’d be contacted when it was ready. However, a month went by with no updates, so I called the store. It was incredibly difficult to get anyone to answer, and no one seemed to have any information about the rug’s status. Eventually, I spoke with the salesperson who explained the rug was still in the warehouse and hadn’t yet been bound. It’s now two weeks later and we still don’t have it. Strangely, the payment processing was incredibly fast.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received. I initially had a salesman quote for a project and signed a contract last Tuesday, but nobody ever showed up to do the installation. I’ve been trying to get this resolved through the service center, but all I’ve gotten are generic responses and no real communication from the company. They finally told me it would be done Friday, but again, no one came. To make matters worse, I had to go into the local office and a manager cancelled the entire installation without even letting me know. Honestly, this has been the worst service I’ve experienced – I’d strongly recommend finding a different company that will actually communicate with you. report abuse

  I want to share a really disappointing experience I had with Next Day Floors in Glen Burnie. Our salesperson, John, was completely unresponsive – he never returned my calls or emails, and repeatedly failed to keep his promises. Worse, the information he gave us turned out to be inaccurate; we discovered our carpet wouldn't arrive until mid-July after waiting three weeks for an update. This whole process has been incredibly frustrating and, frankly, a complete waste of time. Because of this, we’re now trying to cancel our order and we strongly advise anyone considering using Next Day Floors to look elsewhere – you’re better off with a more reliable company. report abuse

  Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Our sales representative was genuinely helpful and honest, and we really appreciated that he didn’t pressure us into buying anything extra. The installation crew was also excellent – incredibly efficient, professional, and courteous, and they did a fantastic job with great attention to detail.   Overall, we absolutely love our new flooring! We decided to completely redo the house, replacing all the hardwood on the first floor and the carpet upstairs. We were a little hesitant about the hardwood in the laundry room and kitchen, but Rick Engle really convinced us it was a fantastic idea, and we’re so glad we listened. The look of the wood floors is absolutely stunning – it’s really dressed up the whole house, especially with the way it complements our baseboards. The installers were incredible professionals. They went above and beyond, even handling some tricky issues like cutting all the door frames up an inch to fit the new floor and completely reworking the subfloor to eliminate those annoying spongy spots and smoothing out that weird elevation change between the kitchen and laundry room. Upstairs, we had a similar great experience with the carpet, thanks to Rick’s expertise in picking the right color – he even suggested a shade that looked beautiful with the new wood floors. Rick and the installers were both fantastic – truly professional and skilled. We felt like we got a really good deal too, and we highly recommend them. report abuse
