  “Honestly, I’m really frustrated with this pool company. I used them last year to do my initial opening in 2022, and now I’m having a terrible time getting them to schedule a closing. I was told to just text my request, but after two weeks, I haven’t heard anything – they haven’t returned my calls or responded to my texts. It’s completely unacceptable to be ignored as a potential customer, and I’m not going to continue to do business with a company that doesn’t value its clients.” report abuse

  Honestly, my experience with this company has been incredibly frustrating. The communication was just awful – I frequently didn’t receive any responses during business hours, even after leaving messages. It felt completely ignored. And then I’d be promised a callback that never happened. I’m really skeptical of the more recent positive reviews; I’d advise anyone considering this company to take them with a huge grain of salt.   “I used to struggle so much with keeping my pool the color I wanted – it always had this strange green tint, not like algae, but just a dull green. I just assumed it was from the bottom and reflections since I’m right on the water. It was testing fine, so I just accepted it. Then I hired a new company and they pointed out that my pump and filter were seriously undersized for my pool. They didn’t push me to buy anything, but after a year of dealing with the constant green and all the extra cleaning, I finally decided to go with their recommendation for a new system. Honestly, it’s made such a difference – my pool is gorgeous now, and I use so much less chemicals and don’t have to vacuum it nearly as often!   “I can’t recommend Poolmax highly enough. Honestly, finding a company willing to take on such a complex renovation was incredibly difficult, especially as I wasn’t local. Poolmax was the only one who stepped up, and they truly saved the day. This project was a massive undertaking – my pool was a 1980s DIY build, and it needed a complete overhaul, including structural work, new plumbing, and all the cosmetic updates. Throughout the whole thing, Poolmax’s guidance was fantastic; they helped me make the right decisions every step of the way. Because so many different contractors were involved, the coordination was a huge challenge, but Poolmax handled absolutely everything – communication, scheduling, even resolving disputes.   I had an incredibly frustrating experience working with this company. After months of communication, I consistently received poor service – often going unanswered and with no follow-through. The support I did receive was delivered by just one person, and it felt very disorganized. Honestly, I’d urge anyone considering contacting them to proceed with extreme caution.
