While the initial installation was completed relatively quickly, it took over a year to get the system fully operational – and it was a frustrating process. I was constantly calling for updates, needing to contact them at least once a week for months before they finally confirmed everything was working. Communication was shockingly poor throughout. Looking back to December 2023, my system is finally online, thanks to help from Emphase. However, the installers didn’t even connect it to our WiFi or provide any guidance on the app for monitoring power – which, given my lack of experience with solar systems, was entirely my responsibility to investigate. Honestly, it felt like Advantagesolar didn’t prioritize my satisfaction or the proper functioning of my system. I’d give them zero stars if I could, and I urge others to be very diligent in their communication and follow-up.” report abuse
