  From start to finish, working with Great Falls Construction in Gorham was truly remarkable. Honestly, it exceeded everything we could have hoped for. Everyone who saw the project in progress was constantly commenting on how incredibly quickly and efficiently they were working – phrases like “it really went up fast!” and “so considerate of the neighbors” were common. Great Falls won us over with their immediate readiness and proactive approach, which was a huge difference compared to other bids we received. Their team was fantastic, expertly handling the permitting, engineering, and insurance aspects of the job. They delivered a remarkably accurate estimate and finished the project nearly three months ahead of schedule! As remote owners, we really appreciated how well the project management team kept us informed and addressed our concerns. They were incredibly communicative, flexible with the trades, and had a fantastic attention to detail, especially considering we couldn’t be on-site as often as we’d like. We were especially impressed with how smoothly they managed the budget and handled the various “puts and takes” that arose. The entire team’s responsiveness and professionalism made a complex renovation feel surprisingly painless. Even the final touches – like the instant lawn restoration – were impressive.   “I’d strongly advise against using this construction company. The site manager was incredibly difficult to deal with, and we experienced a number of serious issues – items were stolen and damaged, and frankly, it felt like they didn't care at all. Attempts to address these problems were met with denial. Avesta Housing has confirmed they won't be using them again, and I completely agree. It’s really important to be extremely cautious when considering this company.” report abuse
