  “We were incredibly grateful for the service provided by Construction Services. Our insurance company strongly recommended them, and thankfully, they responded quickly after our devastating house fire on December 10th. Jeremy, our contractor, was fantastic – he really reassured us that they had a lot of experience with fire restoration and worked closely with insurance companies. They got to work immediately, starting the cleanup right after Christmas and we were back in our home by February 20th, which was amazing considering how quickly things moved after the fire. They took care of everything, from cleaning the house and garage to documenting the damage for our insurance adjuster, and even salvaged and cleaned items that were still usable before returning them. The manager kept us in constant communication with our adjuster, which made the whole process so much smoother and less stressful for us.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with the work completed by this company. The job, which was supposed to take two weeks, actually took four months, and frankly, the quality of the work was unacceptable. They didn’t even clean up after themselves, and worse, they caused significant water damage to my home totaling over $1500. The manager, Jeremie, made promises about settling the financial issues, but he simply held the check hostage until we signed off on their shoddy work, and even then, it was short by $800. To add insult to injury, they left the key in my door with no one home! Jeremie completely dismissed our concerns, leaving us feeling incredibly stressed and frustrated. Now, three weeks later, I’m still dealing with a lock that needs to be cut with bolt cutters – a clear sign of their negligence. It’s obvious to me that this company is only interested in making a profit, and they completely disregard customer service. I would strongly advise against using them.” report abuse

  I was really pleased with Construction Services of West Michigan. We had a difficult situation with a damaged kitchen and basement due to a delivery issue, and they handled everything incredibly well. Carl and his team were fantastic – they provided a clear quote, worked seamlessly with our insurance company, and even went above and beyond by taking on some additional work while they were already there.   Cody did a really thorough job investigating the suspected mold issue – he was so responsive, fitting me in on the same day I called and kept me well-informed while he was there.   Cody, the mitigation manager, was fantastic to work with. I connected with him through a colleague in real estate and he quickly stepped in to address a serious issue – my toilet seal had broken, causing water damage in my bathroom and basement. The whole process took about four weeks, but Cody and his team handled everything efficiently. Ultimately, they even surprised me by recommending and completing a full flooring renovation, which I was extremely pleased with.
