  I absolutely have to say, I was incredibly pleased with USA Insulation. The team, specifically Crew G1 & G2, were fantastic – they were so respectful of my home and my time. Everyone – Nick, Jack, Mike, Noah, and Cam – was punctual, really courteous, and just incredibly professional. They took the time to explain everything they were doing, did a great job insulating the whole house, and then cleaned up thoroughly before they left.   “I’m incredibly disappointed with USA Insulation. Looking back, I realize I made a huge mistake. While their spray gel seemed promising for older homes with poor insulation, I ended up paying a significant amount with high-interest financing, and the experience was disastrous. They insisted on insulating my interior walls, promising an 80% noise reduction, and then proceeded to completely mess up my exterior walls by adding their spray gel to existing fiberglass insulation. The result was a chaotic, frustrating experience. The installers were careless, leaving dozens of large holes in my walls, and the ‘patching’ job was incredibly rough – requiring me to sand down entire sections and completely redo the walls. Honestly, the noise reduction and temperature control improvements I’ve seen so far are minimal. It cost me a fortune, created a massive mess, and left me with a huge amount of work to fix. And to top it off, the service team, specifically Sam, was completely unhelpful and seemed more focused on defending the company’s actions than actually resolving the problem. I strongly advise against using USA Insulation, especially if you have a finished home. It's simply not worth the investment.” report abuse

  Niki and Nate were fantastic – they arrived on time and immediately got to work, clearly explaining everything they were going to do and answering all my questions. They were incredibly thorough, and I was really impressed with how clean they left the house; it’s amazing how quiet it is now, especially with it only being 68° outside! It’s a huge relief knowing the job was done right, and I’m so pleased with their work. We’ve also seen a fantastic difference in our energy bills – we're saving almost a third of our money thanks to the new insulation, and we’re so grateful we took the chance on them. report abuse

  “I’m really disappointed with my experience so far. I originally gave this company 5 stars, but I’ve had to lower my rating to 2 stars. The first team that came out in May 2023 didn’t do a thorough job insulating our house, and they even damaged a few outlets and our doorbell. More recently, the second team fixed some of those issues last Friday, but I’m still concerned that they didn’t fully address the insulation problem, and they unfortunately damaged my son’s HVAC vent, preventing him from getting heat or air in his room. I’m hopeful they can fully resolve these problems and cover the associated costs, which would bring my rating back up to 5 stars. I’m currently holding at 2 stars until everything is taken care of.” report abuse

  “I was really disappointed with my experience. From the start, the phone conversation felt rushed and unprofessional, and they ended the call abruptly. I scheduled a home insulation inspection for Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30 pm, and they completely failed to show up – no call, no notification whatsoever. I even had an email confirmation. I’d made arrangements and set aside that specific time. Trying to reach them was pointless because they were already closed. Honestly, it felt like a complete waste of time, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.” report abuse

  Overall, I was really pleased with the work USA Insulation in Grand Rapids did at my house. They were incredibly courteous and professional throughout the whole process. The job itself was done really well – they were very careful with the insulation and when repairing the walls with the foam. I also appreciated the excellent communication they provided. While the initial quote was a bit high, they worked with me to explore more cost-effective alternatives, which brought the price down significantly. I don't expect to need insulation again for a long time, but if I do, I’d definitely recommend USA Insulation without hesitation. report abuse

  Overall, the experience with this insulation company was pretty good. They initially had a scheduling issue – they rescheduled the first appointment just two hours before they were due – but they really stepped up and got the job done properly the second time around. My only concern was the salesman; he drafted the contract in a way that left some aspects of the job a little unclear, which is why I wouldn’t give them a full five-star rating. report abuse
