“I was really disappointed with the experience. The team I interacted with seemed dismissive and rushed, and the technician who inspected my floor clearly lacked the knowledge and professionalism I expected. It felt disrespectful to be treated that way.”
-
“I was incredibly disappointed with this company. We had a significant issue with a mismarked property corner, which required them to completely redo the property line. To make matters worse, we were then charged a full survey fee to correct their initial mistake. Despite this, they refused to refund our money and have been completely unresponsive, failing to even send an email after two months of trying to get in touch. The customer service was truly terrible.”
-
“Overall, we were really pleased with the survey – they did a fantastic job covering our 10 acres and completed it promptly. Thank you so much!”

“Following the devastating EF4 tornado that struck our Iowa property on March 5, 2022, we received an inspection from a forensic engineer named Nederveld. Frankly, his assessment was incredibly frustrating. He seemed to completely misunderstand the way tornadoes damage structures, insisting the damage to all sides of our house and metal building wasn’t tornado-related simply because he believed the storm originated from the southwest. It felt like he was being incredibly arrogant and, quite honestly, lacked a real understanding of the situation.”
-
“This year, we experienced a really severe hailstorm in Rockford, and I ended up filing a claim with my insurance company. They sent an engineer from Nederveld out to assess the damage with our contractor. Unfortunately, Nederveld’s engineer determined there was no storm damage to our home, but we hired our own engineer who came to a completely different conclusion. Ultimately, my insurance company honored the claim, which was a relief. It’s concerning to hear about situations like this, and I hope Nederveld is not taking this approach with other homeowners.”
-
“Overall, it was a really positive experience working with this company. The office staff were fantastic, and the field crews were professional and efficient – they got the job done promptly.”
-
“Overall, this was a really positive experience. They were incredibly professional and polite, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently.”
-
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I had a really difficult time getting any assistance – management wasn’t responsive and it felt like no one knew how to help. The person I worked with seemed quite inexperienced, and unfortunately, the overall experience was just very frustrating.
