  Amy had a fantastic experience working with Preferred – they had a really impressive selection of homes to choose from, and she was particularly impressed with the team, especially Tim Barber. She felt completely comfortable and never pressured throughout the entire process, and Tim went above and beyond to accommodate her schedule. He was happy to work with however many people she needed to help her make decisions, and she truly appreciated his flexibility.   Beth was absolutely fantastic to work with – she was so friendly, helpful, and really engaged in making sure we created the perfect home. She went above and beyond, diligently adjusting the floor plan to meet our specific needs, particularly accommodating a wheelchair or the needs of elderly residents.   “Honestly, our experience with Preferred Homes has been incredibly frustrating. As first-time mobile home buyers, we were really disappointed with the whole process. We ended up having to completely empty our old trailer back in October, and it’s now February with no new home delivered – it was hauled away seven months ago. Had we known this would take so long, we would have cancelled the deal. Now we have nowhere to live, as our previous trailer was on a lake and we only used it during the summer. We felt like we were misled from the start, and Sherri and Deb weren’t very professional. If you’re considering buying from them, it’s crucial to get a detailed timeline and understand everything that’s happening at every stage.” report abuse

  Overall, I had a really positive experience working with this company. They seem to truly understand this type of property and have the resources – both people and materials – to deliver exactly what you’re looking for. It’s definitely worth asking lots of questions and doing your research beforehand, but they were incredibly helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I ended up going with a different home that better fit my immediate needs, but I genuinely liked this business a lot and would recommend them. report abuse
