Honestly, I was extremely disappointed with this company. Everything they told me initially was accurate, but the quality of their work was shockingly poor. They completely botched the carpet installation in my bedroom – it looked like a child had put it together. I had to call them back three times to fix it, and the first attempt was just unacceptable. To make matters worse, after they left a huge mess, my vacuum cleaner started pulling carpet fibers into it! I tried repeatedly to speak with the owner to address these issues, but they never returned my calls. It was a huge mistake hiring this company.

“I was so impressed with the work these guys did after the storm. They handled everything – the total siding replacement, trim, gutters, and even a new front door. Dan and Ken were really easy to work with and they went above and beyond to source the materials, which was amazing considering the construction challenges we were facing. The pricing was fair and they were incredibly responsive. Honestly, they completely transformed my house, and I’d definitely use them again if I ever needed any work done – though hopefully, I won’t be needing them for a good long while!”

I had a really negative experience with West Michigan Construction. I hired them back in 2014 when I needed my roof replaced, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge headache. Dan, the main contact, was consistently difficult and dismissive, and the quality of the work was shockingly poor. They rushed the job, didn’t communicate effectively, and essentially ignored my concerns about a few issues. Six years later, we’ve now got significant mold growth on our garage ceiling due to a faulty installation – specifically, the flashing around the chimney wasn’t done properly. When I tried to address the problem, Dan was incredibly rude and blamed me for being difficult. Worse yet, they only offered a 5-year warranty on the *labor*, despite the contract stating a 15-year warranty on the materials. It’s completely unacceptable that they’re not standing behind their work, and I’m seriously considering getting a lawyer involved.

“We were absolutely thrilled with West Michigan Construction! From the very first conversation to the final walk-through, the service was outstanding. Juan and his team were incredibly professional and kept us fully informed every step of the way. The work was perfectly coordinated and completed on time – it’s clear they really know what they’re doing and were dedicated to delivering a top-quality roof.”

Honestly, I was really disappointed with this company. Communication was incredibly slow, and they consistently deflected responsibility by blaming their subcontractors. They never even bothered to visit the site to check their work. Furthermore, the window installation was substandard – the exterior trim wasn't properly sealed, and I seriously question how it passed inspection. Given the issues, I wouldn’t recommend using their services.

“I recently called to inquire about a potential job opportunity and had a really frustrating experience. I was transferred to Dan, who immediately hung up on me and told me to call back later. It was completely unacceptable.”

“We’ve gotten a few quotes, and Jim seemed like a reasonable and helpful guy. We’re considering moving forward with his estimate.”
