Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the team’s work. They were professional, polite, and delivered the job exactly as expected. It was fantastic that they quickly and effectively resolved an unexpected issue that arose – a real testament to their skills. Ethan and Ed’s later involvement to finalize the project was also top-notch; they were both skilled and very professional. A truly great team!

Overall, our experience was a bit of a rollercoaster, but ultimately very positive thanks to the team that stepped in. Initially, we had a really frustrating experience with the first crew – there was a lot of miscommunication between us, the sales rep, and the installer. It was a pretty shoddy job, and frankly, we were quite unhappy. However, I want to give a huge shout-out to the second crew, particularly Jacob S, Jon M, and Devon G. They were fantastic! They were incredibly kind, polite, and went above and beyond to fix the problems the first crew created. Quentin, the supervisor, was also amazing – so apologetic and helpful. These four really turned our negative experience around and we’re so grateful for their dedication. If you’re considering this company, I highly recommend asking for Jacob, Jon, and Devon – they're a huge asset to the team and gave us the peace of mind we needed.

Dennis was fantastic – he arrived right on time and really took the time to walk me through everything. He gave a thorough tour of the basement, explained all the details, and clearly outlined my options. I appreciated how transparent he was about the pricing and the different financing choices available. I’d definitely recommend him and FSM!

I was incredibly disappointed with Foundation Systems of Michigan. After four months of them working on my basement water problem, nothing had actually been resolved, and frankly, it felt like a complete waste of time and money. They kept trying different approaches with their system, but it just wasn't stopping the leaks, and in some ways, it seemed to make things worse. Instead of fixing the core issue – which was clearly the water coming in during rain – they kept suggesting unrelated problems like my water heater. The way they tried to demonstrate the system with a garden hose was completely misleading. And to make matters worse, their customer service was terrible. They seemed to avoid taking responsibility and didn’t seem genuinely concerned about my frustrations. Honestly, the whole experience was incredibly stressful and frustrating, and I have absolutely no confidence in their ability to do a good job. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone – I’ve lost all trust in Foundation Systems of Michigan.

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to John W and Jaydan for the fantastic job they did leveling my concrete. It looks absolutely amazing – even better than I anticipated, and I’m incredibly pleased with the results. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing concrete leveling work; their skills and workmanship were truly top-notch.”

Daniel, Ethan, and Jacob did a fantastic job adding the necessary supports and sump basin to the new house. They were really professional and took care to clean up after themselves – I’d definitely use their services again.

“Jakob, Alex, Denzel, and Robbie did a fantastic job installing the exterior drain to protect our basement. They were really friendly and kept us updated throughout the whole process – we really appreciated that!”

“I was so pleased with the service FSM provided. Tim, Sid, and Dillon did a fantastic job encapsulating my crawlspace – they were really thorough and explained everything clearly, and Tim was especially helpful showing me the completed work. Mark, our inspector, was fantastic too – he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly dedicated to ensuring the highest quality. Honestly, his inspection was by far the most detailed I’ve ever experienced. Thanks to this team’s combined efforts, I feel completely confident and at ease about my home.”

Overall, our experience with this company was incredibly disappointing. The initial setup went smoothly, but things quickly deteriorated, and we left feeling completely let down. We chose this company specifically for their patented drainage system, but they informed us on day two that they’d switched to plastic drainage tubes due to the height of our foundation. We never received any communication about this change, nor were we given an agreement to alter the original contract. It would have been appreciated to be informed and understand how they planned to proceed. Adding to this, the price remained the same despite the plastic tubes requiring more labor. The foreman on day two was largely unproductive, and our husband had to call to escalate the situation. On day three, the original foreman had to work incredibly long hours to correct the issues caused by the first two days, and we never received any updates from the outside sales guy, despite the numerous problems that arose. It's unacceptable that a company didn't check in on a job costing thousands of dollars. We also experienced several significant issues with the workmanship itself – the drainage spout was cut shorter than specified, placing it dangerously close to our septic tank, and the cement wasn't properly applied around the foundation walls, leaving large gaps. We ended up having to purchase supplies ourselves to rectify these problems. Frankly, we were seeking quality work and reliable customer service, not a series of unexpected changes and unfinished tasks. We were hoping for a solution, not a costly and frustrating experience.

Jakob and Nathan did an absolutely fantastic job – they really walked me through everything with professionalism and kept the area spotless. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for FSM to do the work; they went above and beyond!
