  Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with Black Diamond Builders. From the very beginning, everyone we worked with – Kevin, Amy, Sandy, Mark, and Tina – was fantastic. They were so knowledgeable and truly took the time to understand our vision and help us create the dream home we’d always wanted, all while staying within our budget. We’d heard some really unsettling stories from people we knew about other building experiences, and we’re so grateful that wasn’t our reality. They were always quick to answer our questions honestly and resolved every concern we had. Building a house is a huge undertaking, but Black Diamond made the whole process surprisingly enjoyable – my husband and I will definitely cherish the memories. We’re already looking forward to using them again when we eventually finish building out our lower level, and we want to extend a huge thank you to the entire team – we absolutely love our beautiful home! report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience building a home with Black Diamond. From the very beginning, it’s been a constant battle to get them to address even minor issues. Within a year of moving into the house they built, my garage started leaking, and despite multiple attempts to get Black Diamond to acknowledge and fix the problem – including sending photos and speaking with their representatives – nothing was ever done. Over the three years I’ve lived here, I’ve encountered a never-ending stream of problems, from a cracked basement wall to failing exterior paint. They consistently avoid responsibility for anything that happens after the initial one-year warranty. They even tried to justify ignoring the leaking wall by saying it would be obvious to future buyers, which was completely unacceptable. Most recently, after my contractor uncovered significant rot in the garage header and damaged garage door side supports, Black Diamond refused to take any responsibility. Now, they’re simply delaying while they attempt to avoid their obligations. I strongly advise anyone considering building with Black Diamond to proceed with extreme caution – they clearly cut corners and don’t stand behind their work. report abuse

  Black Diamond truly exceeded my expectations with the recent completion of my new home. From start to finish, the entire team was fantastic – incredibly helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They were so easy to communicate with, no matter how I reached out, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering building a home, regardless of their budget. report abuse
